In all honesty(hate him or love him)
Would you be happy if mundine did live up to his talk and beats all comers to become undisputed smw champ??
I dont want to hear posts like he cant beat kessler and calzaghe im just asking for answers to my above question...
I as a aussie am always happy to see my fellow country man succeed in their chosen field.Eventhough mundine is a wanker he is still a aussie and i will always cheer for him to beat the top dogs on the world scene..
Remember i would appreciate it if you guys answered my above question..

Its just most of us on aussie forum dont have much good to say about mundine ,so thought it would be interesting to see if the fellas would be happy if mundine did fullfill all his talk and unify his division etc..
I dont really have a favourite boxer these days as boxing i feel sucks balls compared to the late late 80's to mid 90's..Mike Tyson and Tommy Morrison were my favourite boxers but due to them being lunatics away from boxing they fucked their careers up..

I don't care what nationality or skin colour the guy has as long as he is a good boxer who doesn't talk too much smack, which thereby excludes Mundine.
You can be a good boxer and still show respect for the people and opponents around you.

I really disliek people who really big themselves up and have absolutely fuck all to back it up with. When you add this to the fact that he blames everything that ever happens to him on racism, you have a massive cunt.
I hope he gets a shot at one of the big boys within the next year. In all honesty, if he is on his game, I would install him as favourite over anyone 168 and down besides Calzaghe/Kessler. I think he can definitely take the likes of Winky/Pavlik/Taylor etc.

mate he started boxing without an amatuer career and he is the No. 3 SMW in the world, i would say that is making something of yourself as a fighter.

I don't like his attitude. I don't like his mouth. I don't like the way he self promotes himself as the greatest. I don't like that he is trying to be another Ali with less than half of his talent and 10% of his chin.
I don't like that he kept fighting fossils (Lester Ellis, Guy Waters, Rick Thornberry) and kept trying to pass them off as valid opposition. Christ, Ellis hadn't fought for 6 years.
I did like he how he lost to a fighter with only 4 KOs in his 24 wins. I did laugh when the 'greatest' lost his second title defence on points, on home soil.
I laughed when after St George lost to Melbourne he wrote an article the week before they met again the next season, saying St George were the true champions. I laughed when they got smashed something like 66-0. Way to fire up the opposition genius.
If Mundine learnt some humility maybe I could find something to like about him. And yes, what he has achieved is noteworthy, but his record is littered with old men and never weres, and every time he has stepped up against semi credible opposition he has been exposed.
By the way Eels, I picked him to beat Green. I wasn't blinded by the hype about Danny to see his speed would be enough for Greens power. Amsterdam and i chatted a few weeks ago about Taylor and everything he said came true in this fight.
Taylor can win the rematch if smartens up his defence better because Pavlik is so dam easy to hit.

I dont agree, Taylor looked super fast IMO, maybe as fast or faster than Mundine. Yes ill agree Mundine has a fast first punch (roy jones styles) but i dont think he would throw combos as fast a Taylor.
Maybe we will never know, but we do know when Mundine steps up in class...he loses.
