Kesslers first sparringpartner must quit before time, the british boxer darren williams should have sparred 6 rounds against kessler but after the 3 round,he must stop because of nosepain and a swallow face....
but darren williams should be ready for a match very soon so he couldt take any chances off an injuri....

It is not his first sparring partner. He had already sparred with Mock and Haymer before he began sparring with Darren Barker.
The only good thing about the "stoppage" is that Barker got what he deserved after having claimed that he more than held his own against Kessler.

Have any Danes given you the idea that they thought Barker was a great boxer?

Maybe it's because an entire thread was created just to make us aware that Kessler beat up a domestic level fighter in sparring.

Aye, I was being sarcastic. The phrase "nosepain" amused me too.

Okay, I'll give you that Max, and by the way Kessler is not ready yet. But hopefully he'll be ready come November. I just hope we'll get a good fight.

I'm hoping Calzaghe does another Lacy display.

I'm hoping Calzaghe does another Lacy display. Joe may win okay, but i don't think it will be totally one-sided each round

Yeah, you are always allowed to hope, but we both know this will not happen.

Thats right, this win will be much harder to discredit.

Calzaghe might win, I'm not disputing that at all, but he will not win as convincing as he did against Lacy, and people who think that are kidding themselves.

Yes, his post seems to think Barker Is that special.Making someone quit sparring after 3 rounds, do tell us a story doesn't it? Why are you being defensive? Getting the jitters?

Now let us stay real DaneP, you are only partly right. Yes, Kessler made him quit after 3 rounds, but they had already sparred a couple of days at the time, so I think it was the cumulative "beating" over these days that made him quit.;)

I'm hoping Calzaghe displays the kind of boxing ability he showed against Lacy - but STILL gets outclassed by an even better Kessler.
However, even if that happens it would likely be interpreted by most, as a case of Calzaghe being over the hill, rather than Kessler having done particularly well.
Just as the Calzaghe fans are right, that should Calzaghe win, many detractors will automaticly assume Kessler was never any good.

Hm, sounds like this sparring partner is to much of a pussy to do his job.
The only thing this is telling us is, that Kessler is dead serius and focused on his next figth:yep

His post had a !!! In It sounding like It was a big deal he stopped a British area level champ.
If he made a huge name quit maybe I'd make a fuss.:yep
I don't need hope Calzaghe will win clear anyway even If It's not Lacy like, his style Is typical tight gard good footwork and keeping on the jab.
