Is anyone planning to go to fight. I am desperate to go but none of my mates can afford to go. Just wondered if anyone else is in the same position. Has anyone from the forum ever met up before a big fight I think it would be awesome to go on a eastside trip to for the fight.

in all honesty I would have rather cut my balls off with a rusty nail than gone to Vegas with the majority of the retards that followed Hatton out there. They werent boxing fans in my eyes. Hopefully this should be different.

Not a chance i'll have the money for march which is annoying, im still stunned they're doing this that early.
Hopefully the winner faces Mosley later in the year and i'll go to that, or see what Cotto is doing in NY in June.

Yeah I agree with you about some of the fans that where there. When we where in the mgm just outside the garden arena there was a lot of brit fans all autograph hunting. While I was getting my pic taken with donaire, juan diaz and brian vilora and talking to vilora for about 10 mins all the other brits we saying things like we the fuck are all the celebrities and boxers we havn't seen any yet.

all depends on whether i can get a ticket for the fight or not - the missus wanted a trip to mexico but i think i can put that on hold to next year to compensate for the fight

You aint got a chance mate. I'll be surprised if theres any more than 2k available for normal sales and even then they'll be wanted by 100s of thousands of people.

I am suprised its so soon aswell reminds of when they announced calzaghe v rjj and it was 8 weeks from when they announced it. Also big fights normally have 5 or 6 months promotion and build up.

Is it even 100% confirmed yet? Last i heard they were still thrashing out the terms etc.
March isnt ideal...I was hoping it would be May/June but im still seriously considering going.

If its on March 13th I won't be going. The later in the year the fight happens the more chance I'll go.

snap march is too early for me, may/jne would be ideal

true, id love to go but the only way anyone is getting to see this live is by ponying up £1,000+ to a tout or on stubhub/ebay for a ticket right at the back if your lucky. gutted that its not going to be in a big stadium infront of boxing fans.

It can't be in May because Pac is running for office. That's the whole reason it was put on for March, although it looks like the whole thing's off now anyway. Pac will still fight in March though, I expect Arum will keep it in house and fight Yuri Foreman instead.
Had a look on Expedia and flight and hotel packages are cheap for vegas at the moment on the 18th September weekend. might be worth getting on that as thats where the fight will probably end up. worst case scenario, that fight doesnt come off and Pac or Floyd would still fight at the MGM Grand then.
