Hello everyone, My name is Josh and I have been reading these forums for a while now but havnt signed up until now..
I am 17 y/o, 5'10 weigh around 140 and have a big reach advantage on most people I spar with in my gym.
I have only been training for about 6 months now all together and get my first fight sometime in january..
My trainer says I have big potential and am very fast he says I fight like a ali/pacquaio.
I am quiet but very confident I will do good as a boxer..
The only concern I have so far is I have been smoking weed and ciggarettes since I was 14 and I hope it's not too late too have outstanding cardio and to be able to go 12 rounds high intensity fight
someday...I just have too quit smoking before I can think about that I think :P
My cardio isnt bad says my trainer, but I feel as if it isnt the best it can be...
Anyone have any opinions on this? would be appreciated..
Also what can I expect going into my 1st fight?
I plan on just dancing on the outside and picking him away with my fast jab
I have been doing sprints and regular runs wearing work boots to improve the cardio as of lately,..
Also any advice on other ways of improving cardio and speed would be greatly appreciated..
