Besides destroying Cuevas in sparring at 14 years old and making Bobby Czyz throw up from the body shots he dished out, El Torito never lost a fight from the age of 8. As early as that age, he was knocking out guys who had facial hair. Not to mention Tony just destroyed everybody in his path as a young teenage pro.

He may have gone to jail before having a chance to fight any noteworthy opponents, but what would've been! In my book, anyway.....

Tony would've obliterated just about any fighter in the modern age.
Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Benitez, Mugabi, Delahoya, Trinidad, Hopkins, etc. The only ones I have doubts about are Hagler and Jones Jr.

Enormous talent, but destined for self-destruction.

Ayala and Gaby Canizales are two of the best fighters to come out of Texas.

When he was fighting, I thought he had the potential to become great...just wasn't meant to be.

He was going to lose sooner or later had he kept fighting, I think Davey Moore had a serious chance of doing it. Good fighter, but somewhat overrated.
