Source is the scene.

Good matchmaking, McDonagh's a gatekeeper to British level. And I think Brook-Jennings is back on :happy

Good to see him busy.

That is a fairly tough test though. Difficult one to call!

Is this the McDonagh that Daws beat last year?

Good to see ****** stepping the olympians up.

Apparently Degale is fighting Patrick Maxwell on the same bill.

Great opponent for Frankie at this stage....McDonagh is as tough as nails....If Frankie can look good against him at this stage of his careere it will be a good result :good

I think Gavin will stop him. Mcdonagh is good though and its a cracking match.

Good step up. Gavin has immense talent, he vs Daws could happen next year I think

Think this is a big step up for Gavin, fair play to him for taking this fight still so early on.

:yep

In that case...Daws had way too much for him (Refs scoring a lot closer than I thought it should have been), but he is certainly a very decent match up for Gavin at this stage of his career

Is Gavin ready for Daws now? Daws has a pretty easy style to build a game plan for, even if he has proved himself to be effective?

Gavin seems to have the talent where he CAN be pushed, but when would you like to see him fighting for the British?

I say after McDonagh if he comes through it. Then Olusegun, then European class.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun but Gavin has been really impressive thus far:good

Dont rate Daws at all to be fair......IF Frankie looks good against McDonagh (I think he will) then he'll have more than enough against Daws

this will go the distance , mcdonagh has only been stopped once in 29 fights and that was due to an arm injury

a good step up for frankie , should be a good benchmark for him

Goddamn, I need to be at this event! this card looks awesome, I would sell a Kidney to go if Mitchell gets someone like Anthony Peterson, Rolando Reyes or John Murray

Wont be Reyes or Murray and do you see Top Rank sending a prospect of theirs to the UK. How does Moises Solis or Petr Petrov sound?

Remember this is a Frank ****** card if McDonagh takes a couple of unanswered punches the ref will be diving in to “save” him

Frankie should win this, though it could be closer than some think

Regarding Frankie vs Daws in the future. Lenny's workrate seems to bother guys completely. I watched him in the gym for a year while i was training and he trained like every amateur fight was for a world title. He's a slow starter but a very solid boxer.

Has the fundamentals and also the drive to win most domestic fights. He's not been the same since losing the title to Morrison and i believe that's work and also loss of ambition but maybe getting the title back might spur him on. So i think it would be about 6-12 months to early for Frankie imo.

As for this fight this is a good step up, Mcdonagh will come to fight and can hang on in there and make Frankie work and give him some rounds. He lost to Lee Purdy in a southern area fight this year and gives many domestic guys a decent fight nothing special but decent enough for now.

This fight card is turning into a SICK one. McD will give Gavin something to think about while giving him rounds. Sometimes his awkward style will win but Gavin should have too much amateur experience to just fold to an awkward style.
