RIP Terry.

This is really going to ruin Frank's Christmas.

I think that in the early days Frank lived with Lawless and his Mrs.

Lawless handled some great fighters in his time, apart from Bruno he had Stracey, Hope, Watt, Jim McDonnell, Kaylor, Gardner, Magri and many more.

Along with Micky Duff, Lawless was a legend of 70's and 80's British boxing...he will be sadly missed

I 1st got into boxing in the late 70's early 80's when Terry managed/trained just about every boxer worth watching he will be missed.

Rest in Peace...

I recently listened to Frank Bruno speaking at a dinner show... The manner is which he spoke about Terry Lawless was outstanding.

Frank Bruno spoke about how he gave him the values of polite manners, how to dress and speak with people properly and how important it was to be respectful to others.

Today is a sad day for British Boxing...

Would Terry be the most successful British manager ever?

RIP to one of the sport's many gentlemen.

For a while him and Duff pretty much controlled the top end of British boxing.

RIP.

Not unexpected, but a sad time to go.

A brilliant manager/trainer who had a huge hand in popularising British boxing in the 70s and 80s
