Who wins? Id give the slight edge to Judah i think knowing that he will pretty much be able to walk through everything Paulie throws will allows us to see the best of Zab. Very interesting fight though. Also with them both being New Yorkers do you reckon this fight has a chance of coming close to or even selling out MSG?

Who has Judah ever beat? Spinks? Judah is an overrated joke with a Glass Jaw.

i think zab would handle paulie pretty easily......he wouldnt have to worry about getting hurt bc paulie is about as feather fisted as they come so he would out speed him and out muscle him......zab ud

Malignaggi is way too fast, way too busy, and has a lot of skills. Judah would have some moments, but he would lose a wide decision because he does not fight aggressive enough.

Zab would get beat. straight up. if for nothing else- malignaggi stayed in there with cotto. Zab proved he is NO cotto. I think that M-naggi would keep zab moving the whole night and zab would tire out before he had a chance to stop the fight. Malignaggi showed everyone that he has what it takes to gain a title now and from his cotto fight we know it is going to take more than strength to beat him.

What about Malignaggi vs Baldomir? I think that would be an intresting fight.

For whatever it is worth , I dont think Paulie would be rocked by Baldomir and lose.

I dont think Baldomir could ever make 140, and full welter is too big for paulie.

At 147 of course against Baldomir. I dont think size matters much when you cant catch someone, and Baldomir is not a puncher.

...Judah must be down a notch in the food chain by now.

You'd think so, but somehow past reputation means way too much in this sport. PS Judah ain't won in over 2 years, the last thing he should get is a shot at ANYONE with ANY belt.

I was thinking of this same match-up during Paulie's victory last night. They both have the hand-speed but Zab is stronger. On the other hand, I don't think Zab has it mentally and Paulie would just frustrate him. Paulie by UD.

I keep reading interviews where Paulie keeps saying how he has a lot of power that no one respects but it's hidden power or something like that it just kind of makes me chuckle a bit. Where is this ferocious power he speaks of?
I've never heard this. When Larry Merchant interviewed him post-fight Paulie basically admitted and laughed at his poor level of power.

Zab would destroy Malignaggi, it would be a good fight though.

:rofl

Look up a few interviews with him on google. He mentions in a couple of them something along the lines that people don't respect his power because they look at his record of 5 KO's and think he has none but when he sits down on his punches his opponents feel it or something to that effect.

He buckled N'dou's legs and knocked him down. N'dou has a superb chin. Although N'dou didnt seem badly hurt, check his legs at the KD.

I would have to go with Judah. Against a boxer he is much to slick. Paulie has some ability but not to the level of Judah. The cotto that fought against Judah was much more relentless then the weight drained Cotto we saw at 140 against Paulie also, as Cotto had a lot of moments in the fight with inactivity due to his stamina issues.

Paulie has done against Ndou and such, because he was faster and a better overall boxer. Vs Zab, he would be neither. Plus, Zab starts to get offtrack when he gets hurt (tho he proved in the Cotto fight that that may be behind him now...we will see tho)...and Paulie aint hurtin' NOBODY!

Zab was knocked down by Cory Spinks and hurt by Baldomir, then ran the rest of the fight. Both have very low KO % as well and Zab lost to both fights. Baldomir has 13 KO's in 43 wins, 6 draws.

Malignaggi wants the winner of the Hatton - Castillo fight. Malignaggi loses to either fighter.

The end.

At this point, I still would pick Judah over Malignaggi :yep

Baldomir is stronger and has more power than Paulie...so does Spinks...please dont argue this.

So what. How often has Malignaggi buckled the knees or floored his opponent? Not very often. However Judah has done so quite often. Don't assume Judah's vulnerable chin would be severely tested by Maligannagi. Malignaggi isn't Cotto, Bladomir, or PBF.

Great fight. Judah sells out msg regardless of opponent but against paulie would be a superfight for sure. Judah by ko.

Judah isnt going to do more damage than Cotto.

The biggest problem facing Judah is not if he has the skills to do it, because I do think if Zab executed properly, he could win.

I don't see him seeing Paulie as a big enough threat. He already has ring commitment issues and i dont think he'd get up for the fight. Then- after the first four rounds and Zab has peppered malignaggi with everything he has and Paulie is still standing there executing his gameplan which may or may not have won him the first rounds anyways, I think Malignaggi's agenda would be easily pushed because Zab breaks down when he can't hurt/finish an opponent early.

Judah was a massive talent when he first come on the seen. A young, green Judah owned Micky Ward, owned De Marcus Corley, Witter, Spinks in the rematch and a host of decent fighters. He came up short against the very best (apart from he appaling performance against Baldomir). He put up a decent performance agaisnt Mayweather and Cotto.

Didn't know there were Huge Paulie fans:think

But I'm a Judah fan, and I agree with most that Zab has legitimate power at 140 and could do Paulie some damage.

I see paulie dancing, sticking and moving and will win some rounds, but judah will land something big, and then after that will control the fight, because paulie will go in to a survival mode... I see it 116-112 judah...
