How do you know there are "a LOT of black people" who are happy Taylor lost? Do you really think there were tons of African Americans cheering for "The Ghost"? Pissed at JT for losing probably, but happy he lost, doubtful. I recently posted a thread asking who were the five greatest natural boxers of the last 40 years. Posters of all shades responded and most agreed with my initial pick of Ali, Jones, Leonard, Whittaker and Mayweather.

I'm assuming the responding posters represented a fair cross-section of tis forums membership.

Some included Duran (not an unreasonable thought) and one (guess who ?) had Calzaghe on there (he's not racist I think, just a little over-enthusiastic about his boy).

But most agreed that the top guys are mostly black.

(Ironically, some time back, a White American football coach opined on American TV that blacks are generally better American Football players than whites. ---I don't remember his name as I don't follow that sport--- He was revilled as a racist and lost his position for stating something which anyone with half a brain knows to be true.

It's a fact (the reasons are another topic for a different debate) that Blacks dominate most major sports in the US, except for hockey. (Blacks make up 12-13% of the US population.)
