This guy's gameplan is obvious. How is it that he is so consistently effective? He walks you down and tries to hit you with a 1, 2. He crushed Miranda and now Taylor this way. Does a slicker fighter get to him easily, or am I not seeing something?

I agree Jason. I say the same thing for Cotto also. They are both probalby the most predictable tyou can be, but yet they cant be stopped.

A more disciplined fighter with good boxing skills and a solid chin takes him most likely. Abraham is a fighter like this. In the SMW division there are others.

He's effective because he hits so damn hard.
Just like was said in the preview. You might have a gameplan but once he cracks you with the right hand that gameplan goes out the window.
And he's patient too. He doesn't get rattled even getting knocked down. He's gonna be tough for even Calzaghe. You'll see.

Pavlik should work on defense and his left hook.
Do a bit more body work also.
But he's got his basics down to a tee. Jab, jab, right-X

I would favor Kelly over everybody at 160 - including Abraham, Wright, and Sturm. 168 is a different story as of now.

He's predictable but endurant and he lands hard too.
but his endurance and consistancy is what makes the difference.

Minus the speed, he reminds me of a MW Pac. Totally predictable and still devastating.
