I'm hyped for this card now but it took me a while to get there.
Evans vs Silva has been promoted to main event. Remember it was supposed to be Silva vs Belfort then Nate vs Henderson but now this is the main event.
Daley strikes me as another sub standard Brit being promoted as something he is not. Like Hardy and even Bisping they are losers but hopefully they can improve enough to put their losses behind them.
Yvel is another replacement and not a huge fight but a good fight. Exciting match up. Not one of his wins has ever gone the distance.
Ultimately its a card full of exciting match ups between contenders but other than Rashad vs Silva (which was once an undercard fight) it hasn't really got the huge names to justify a PPV. A mainstream fan would need to be educated about all the fighters except the main event.

The fights should be entertaining but I just wont pay for it ill go to a local bar.
This has been the most injury riddled card in the history of the UFC. There is a few decent fights but i'm sure it will do low ppv numbers.

PPV numbers will be very low for this one, though Rashad v Silva should be a very exciting fight - both fighters with only 1 loss on there record and both to Machida I think this will be a very good fight.

Achilles mate your comments regarding Paul Daley are more than reasonable. He is a good, powerful striker (As you will already be aware) but he is vulnerable to submissions (And he's fighting a submissions expert in Hazelett!). As you rightly say Rogan and the rest of the UFC boys have this hype train full of coal and on greased tracks!! In fact when they were first referring to Daley, it was only by his nickname that I realised it was the same guy i've seen fight in Britain's "Cage Rage"!! He looked good against Kampmann and he definitely has a "Puncher's chance" in almost any fight, the thing is the top echelon fighters will be aware of his vulnerability to submissions and will act accordingly! He has also dropped a few decisions which does indicate that "Semtex" loses his explosiveness after round 1 (Forgive the terrible pun, but you know how it is with us Brits and our so-called "Humour":-)). I would like to see Daley fight Hardy and I would favour Daley in that match-up (Koscheck is right, Dan Hardy is considered by some to be the #1 contender? WTF!! Mind you, I rather enjoy Hardy's "Trash" and it was hilarious to watch him get under skin of Marcus Davies and his entire camp!!). Paul Daley aside (Who I will be cheering on!) I am looking forward to Saturday!

The fight I want to see is Dos Santos vs Yvel. Dos has been stopping everyone so far and has looked good doing it.
This is a very good fight in my eyes. Yvel has lost a step but he's a bonafide striker with VERY heavy hands and a massive heavy. Santos could have his hands full.

He sure does, Dos has been winning with his standup so far but against Yvel that might not be the best idea. He has BJJ of course training with Nog we just havn't seen how good it is yet.

im excited about this card...looking forward to it
This card could turn out to be really entertaining, but as far as meaningful fights, it's a complete dud. Dos Santos vs Yvel is probably the most interesting because it will be a good test for an up and comer. Other than that, we have the battle of, "Who of Lyoto Machida's Murder Victims is the Worst." What a horrible main event.

 You would think so. I'm sure I have read on ESB that Silva is suffering from some sort of knock/injury but the UFC have persuaded him to appear! If that is the case then i'm sure that the injury is not that severe and a lot of fighters do enter the octagon whilst carrying some sort of "Knock", but if it is the case that Silva is not 100% then Evans could be a good bet (I'll have to find out how the bookies have this match-up before I commit to anything. My guess is Evans will be the favourite. Around about the 8/15-4/9 mark).

My Observations.
Joe Luazon is done. The guy just doesnt have what it takes to beat the contenders at 155, let alone a borderline guy Stout (although respect to Sam but LW is deep.
JDS is going to be a beast, he was a bit sloppy with Cop but the guy with his camp will get better.
My boy Munoz had a good win but hes far from being a wrecking machine. He seems to have what Vera lack, and that is put more than two strikes together.
This Ellenberger kid is dynamite
Kampmann, he wont go far, I used to think highly of him he throws nice straight punches but man Im very surprised how slow he is, thats why he loses exchanges with brawlers.
Daley, hes good but Id like to see more of him with someone who had half a brain to not stand with him. I understand Mclovin wanted to stand with him but not for the whole fuckin round:lol::patsch
this Miller kid, what a turd, yeah he wasnt hurt lol, yeah and he'll die in a cage. Corny. Wont go far.
Rashad, Im sorry hes good and I like him but his chin is very suspect.
The event itself wasnt worth $50. They need to reduce the damn price because impending doom is looming. And FFS why are they repeating Prelim bouts theyve already shown in Spike in the PPV??

That too, and no head movement whatsoever. I mean he takes 3 punches to 1. I dont care how straight your punches look but if you cant avoid a few looping punches and gets beaten to the punch, youd be a gatekeeper.
Daley hes nice..Rogan called him the best striker in MMA lol. Hes good but he was a bit tentative fearing a takedown. He absolutely has no ground game thats why hes got over 10 defeats.

As soons as it was announced that Daley signed with the UFC, I said he would be a handful for anyone standing but his ground game is not very good though. I had a feeling Kampmann would trade with him and pay the price but I wasn't expecting Hazelett to do the same. Dana has said he will most likely fight Fitch or Koshceck, while Daley has said he would prefer a fight with Alves. With a Fitch vs Alves match being talked about, Daley will probably fight Koscheck next.
