In Britain we were treated to Liles/LittlesII
Meza/Garza was a classic
Logan/Benn was a stand out
Oyebola/WelchI on a Lewis undercard in the States, was a hell of a lot more fun than the main event.
Liles-Littles II and Benn-Logan are top fights!! Haven't seen the others will have to track them down

A lot of Trinidad's IBF defences were short and sweet, and entertaining by way of the obligatory early KD of Tito, and then subsequent brutal KO of his opponent.
Thanks to TBooze for these suggestions...

Firstly thank you, not seen that for years.... secondly what a fight!!!! Just amazing neither were known to be exciing but Littles had gone toe to toe with James Toney and shook him a little in a previous title fight.
Spare a thought for Mitch Halpern probably one of the best refs ever. Killed himself a few years back, what shame. Rip

I sometimes think that because the finish to some of Pac's fights are so overwhelming that people forget how exciting they are before it got to that point. I'm rambling, so enjoy this instead

Love this one. Doesn't matter how well the opponent is boxing if you carry this kind of equaliser

To think, some on here were complaining about Hattons excessive holding!!!

I'd say the only fight he really took the piss was Urango..... I'd go as far as to say he ought to have had at leastone or maybe two points taken, possibly even be thrown out.
As for other fights, there wasn't much in the Maussa fight, mainly semi-intentional headbutting by an awkward guy, Collazo there was a bit from both guys, then some more in the Lazcano fight late on.
Against Mayweather and Malignaggi it was them doing most of the holding, Floyd obviously part of a deliberate plan, Paulie to survive..... then in the Pac fight he was hanging on for dear life in the 1st.
If he had been penalised on one or more occasions there wouldn't be the controversy IMO.
But what are you supposed to do..... just stand there and get blown away?

This was just great, vintage, vintage James Toney v his unbeaten number one contender. Really livens up in the second and especially in the third when Toney gets a real bad cut trying to finish

I didn't think there would be a good quality version of this on youtube but here it is. If you have 15 minutes watch all of this, it is sometimes cagey but tense, brilliant and what a KO

Top stuff, i love this clip :good
I love the backing sound track............ Rob Dougan and Born Yesterday(make sure you turn it up when Troy drops him).
I know Troy Waters and he's a top bloke. Just wish he didn't sustain those cuts, he was a brillant defensive counter puncher and Terry was punching himself out. Although not many blokes can take all that punishment from Norris.

Two of the hardest pure punchers P4P you'll ever see going at it. Former stablemates THE RIVALRY WAS RED HOT!!!
I believe going in Zarate (the champ) was 49-0(48). zamora was 30-0 (30) I might be slightly wrong but I know that Zarate had been the distance once (against Ferrara) and Zamora had sparked everyone, including future ATG 126lber Eusebio Pedroza.
One of the most exciting Bantam clashes you'll ever see, an amazing four round war :good :good

Decent but inconsistent.
The greatest 'short' fighter ever was legendary Flyweight Pascual Perez-4'11 nd a concussive puncher with great upper body movement and fast feet he used to trot in and out of range. Awesome.
