He won't say shit even if he thinks it is dodgy. I'll be shocked if he comes out and speaks his mind.

Seeing as he has this habit of opening his mouth then sticking his foot in it, it's probably best for him to avoid any mention of this situation.

Funny you should mention this as I've just got off the phone with him. He said he thinks it's all a load of bollocks and that Pacquiao's achevements should be applauded instead of being denigrated with filthy and heinous speculation.

He'll be vindicated before long anyway. Personally, I think all of this is just contractural posturing and Pacquiao doesn't want to look like he'll give in to every whim that PBF is having. Let us not forget that PBF has had exactly the same tests throughout his career as Pacquiao, so if we're going to question if Pacquiao is clean, we may as well question PBF and everyone else.

I think Pac's camp will make a point of having blood tested leading up to his next bout to prove his innocence and to also show that he has nothing to hide and is willing to take a test but on his terms as well. Until he's proven guilty, I will take it that he has nothing to hide. In the meantime, PBF shouldn't just be demanding that the rules used for everyone else are changed just for him. I do think, however, that boxing needed something like this to highlight it's current testing procedures.

On the subject of Khan, he has probably been told to button it as any quote that comes out of anyone connected with Pacquiao is likely to now be skewed beyond it's original context in light of this current situation.

Looks like Khan will have to fight Maidana, ****** said today WBA are forcing the fight.

Me as well.... it just makes boxing look stupid.

Who needs hype for a fight like this - it sells itself.

No wonder UFC is gaining in popularity, the guys just get on with it, without trainers acting like cockheads and fighters moaning about this thing and that.

Good. It will answer a lot more questions than if he were to fight Malignaggi which was suggested.

I dont mind the fight with Maidana, but WBA are taking the piss 2 mandatories in a row, they should let Khan pick his next fight then force the Maidana fight.

Yep and a good thing too, IMO. I have turned into a bit of a Khan nuthugger after Prescott and I would be dissapointed if he didn't take the fight as I believe he has a very good chance of winning and if he just vacated the title it would come across as a ducking of a bout with Maidana. Regardless of the belt, it's an interesting fight anyway so I hope it does happen.

In fairness Darni, I'd rather have two mandatories than another co-existing WBA champion :think

Plus Salita was bloody awful, his story was quite good, but fuck me, the way he was smacked into next week by a cuffing shot was embarrassing :-(

It would answer a lot of questions about Khan if he could beat Maidana, especially by stoppage, beating Malignaggi is alright and all, but it's only a year ago that Hatton destroyed him, Diaz looked porky at the weight as well.

Yeah if it is the case Khan should take the fight, i dont want him to vacate the belt that would suck. Maidana is a puncher but not really a good boxer Khan can outbox him.

True, this will be a real good test for Khan, But i think ****** will stage the fight here in U.K, he wont want Khan to make his debut in the U.S vs a puncher in case it all goes pear shaped.

Any thoughts on potential sparring partners?

If I was Roach I would get Prescott in as a sparing partner, he wont cost to much now, also Khan can release some demons with him. Sparing Manny will never be bad also.

Well, with Urango-Alexander as good as finalised for early March, this would make sense on that undercard whether it be a late card over here which would then go to the States or if it were Khan's American debut:think.

I think the plan would still be Pacquiao if the Foreman fight goes ahead as Khan is the same height. Let's face it, Khan in sparring would be a bigger test than the actual fight with Foreman.

Beeston Brawler

If Pacquiao is fighting Foreman they would be made for each other probably.

Maidana is almost as right hand happy than Pac ever was with the left.... maybe Pac could go orthodox for a bit to adjust the angle... maybe it wouldn't really matter, at least the shots are coming from the backhand, and quickly.

I wouldn't choose Khan as a principal sparring partner for Mayweather though..... not quite sure who I'd get actually for that contest. Steve Forbes is probably a bit past it, and fairly slow.

I was thinking that also, but will ****** allow that?, maybe with Khan promotions it might be out of his hands even taking the fight could be out of his hands. Ask Khan he will fight Maidana in U.S March 6 on Devon-Urango bill. Lets hope this is the case.

Why would anyone care about Khan's opinion - he's not exactly the sharpest tool in the toolbox is he?

Plus, he's not going to say anything that might upset Roach.

It was blow way out of proportion. if he tested positive for High levels of HGH i'd understand the commotion but he didnt, its not difficult to detect if an athlete is getting juiced on steroids, its just like 1 fighter blaming another fighter for having loaded gloves, when theres no proven evidence just speculation

He wouldn't say anything he just go on about how great Manny and Alex are and he thinks Floyds scared of Manny and looking for a way out of the fight etc. If he said different to that then i be shocked.
