Hey whats everyones thoughts on this rematch. I see Dolan as a good prospect and i’m thinking a year on with a little more experience in the pro ranks the younger man will come out on top. Will have benefited enormously from the 12 rounds he has already shared with Norton and have a clearer idea how to get to him; given this I think he is much better placed to win this fight than the last time they fought. Unfortunately I missed the last fight but from what I understand Dolan got off the cleaner shots and scored the purer knockdowns. Anyone who saw the fight is this a fair account of what happened and how do you see the rematch unravelling?

Cheers

What weight was David Dolan in the amateurs, I think Tony Bellew was HW just wondering if Dolan was and if they ever met ?

Fought at both HW and super HW in amatuer ranks so I would imagine there paths have crossed somewhere down the years

I think that David Dolan did 91kg in the amateurs and his brother did 86kg...both out Plains Farm ABC if my memory serves me right...:think

Norton fannied around far too much in the first fight. He deserved the win but not by the margin he got.

Apparently Dolan had an amatuer rivalry with Haye in the Ams according to Buncey and more than held his own.

Anyway, I think Dolan wins early - Dolan is more experienced to the 12 round distance now, more suited to the weight and should have improved more so all-round, whilst Norton will have lost some of his reflex speed which he relies on.
