Hmm WTF? JT was ahead on the scorecards? gimmi a break

round 1. real close with pavlik landing more I think, Ill give it to Taylor 10-9(generous as fuck)
round 2 10-8 JT
round 3 10-10 generous again
round 4 10-9 pavlik
round 5 10-9 pavlik
round 6 10-9 pavlik

I was generous for Taylor and the score says draw, and I was real generous, those scorecards were bullshit, didnt someone say they were like 4-2 for taylor????

I suppose it could be seen that way, personally I had JT ahead at the time.
I'm also British so neutral to both fighters.

KP was down by 3 points on two and 4 on another if I heard it right.

I know. I had Pavlik dominating every single round except for the 2nd round when Pavlik pulled a mayorga and let taylor hit him. He got caught with a lucky punch that's all.+

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :patsch

yeah thats pretty rediculous. Thank god kelly stopped him cause I don't think I could have taken another contraversial taylor win.

Not that I actually think he lost the spinks, wright, or either hopkins fights but that would be one too many.

I thought it was a robbery at first as well. But when I watched the fight again I realized I was getting caught up in the crowd hype + lederman. Round 6 (I think. It was one of them anyways) was given to Pavlik, and Taylor out landed him by 20 shots. I agree with Merchant - going into the 7th it was 3-3, with Taylor up by 1 point. 3 points is a bit of a stretch, but it wasn't clearly Pavlik's.

I agree, I had it 3-3 with Taylor up by 1 point because of the KD. There is no way in hell that Taylor was up by 3 points.

Well, that's only a 1 round difference. Pavlik won 1 and 3 hands down. Taylor won 2 and 5 hands down. The contested rounds were 4 and 6. I can fathom a judge giving them both to Taylor after looking at them again.

The real killer is that the woman gave round 1 to Taylor though. Pavlik DOMINATED Taylor in compubox numbers in that round. He connected at a higher rate and landed something like 20 more power shots. Pavlik, the sidewalk guy, Lederman, Steward and Taylor all agreed openly who won that round.

oh so you followed my advice last night and rewatched that fight now huh, good for you :thumbsup

Those who are saying Pavlik was dominating are reaching out of their asses.

Pharmacist Lederman is going catatonic at a fast pace the way he had it 4 rounds to 2 to Kelly and the way he had Winky winning cause Bernard was doing "too much clinching" ( he says), maybe Harold is on drugstore dope!

I don't see Taylor the way the judges did. He had a big second and maybe one other round.
