whoŽd win this??

after all, bertos win over estrada was an eliminator for the IBF........so this could be in the cards pretty soon.

looks like a great fight, cause both have shown so pretty awesome performances but also have some flaws.

both were kinda written off after unimpressive or (in cintrons case) somewhat cowardlike performances.

both have come back with impressive wins over supertough david estrada.......cintron stopping him in ten and now berto stopping david in 11.

IŽd personally make cintron a slight favorite.

what do you think??

Berto is still taking too many clean shots to the head. More upper body movement and he needs to keep his hands up. Otherwise, Cintron will take his head off.

I'd be confident in a Cintron KO personally.

But I agree should be a very exciting fight.

Cintron. I think his height & power are too much for Berto's lapsey defense.
I think Cintron is the better boxer, but even if Berto dominates offensively, he leaves himself too open, and I would see Cintron doing a lot of damage.

Cintron by KO (early to mid)

I'm taking Berto by stoppage.

Yea I know he gets hit clean still. But he'll be in with power against Cintron and he knows it. Avoid the right hand at all costs.

You have to keep in mind Estrada was giving Cintron hell until he was knocked out. Berto worked Estrada much better. Cintron is still a big target and he can't work around that. I see Berto's handspeed and power being a big factor here.

yes, thats what im thinking. i think berto has the talent to win this, but really has to employ the boxing basics more as you have pointed out.

berto needs to stop trying to look cool while fighting. that can backfire bigtime on him (see the fight were he got put on his ass).

This will probably happen, and should as Berto has certainly earned a title shot. Cintron would make him earn it big time as Kermit would more than likely dominate Berto. It would be good to see. Few of Cinton's fights lack action, and I doubt this would be one them if it happened.

Berto has an incredible offensive package though at times in the Estrada fight he was caught pretty clean, Kermit has a longer jab and is improving on understanding the science of distance. Kermit would only need on good offensive flurry to put Berto out and the chances of that happening are quite high. Kermit by brutal KO while losing on points.

I agree, Berto would crumble under the pressure sort of like the Mets when the Phillies went on their late season surge.

berto is especially suseptible to the left hand. cosmo knocked him down with it, estrada was taggin him with it too early in the fight. and cleanly i might add

I'm not a big Cintron fan but I see him KOing Berto mid rounds. For some reason I see Berto as a KO waiting to happen.

Berto threw some impressive combinations with great speed & he looked to be very strong and not tire out. This looks like it would be a great fight to see. Cintron seems to have better technique right now...he is fitting himself into a good boxer puncher combination, where as before, he was just a bomber. Cintron also seems to have good movement, where as Berto seems to fight kind of tall and stiff, despite having good punching ability.

Also, keep in mind that Cintron's downfall on the Margarito fight was Margarito's uppercuts that got to him. Berto has some really nice uppercuts himself with more power than Margaritos IMO, so you nevern know.

Cintron by 10 round stoppage. too much speed and power for Berto's defense.

Cintron by ko in 8 rounds or less.

I think you guys are counting out Berto too quick. What about his speed being too much for Cintrons defense?? Ive watched both Cintron vs Estrada and Berto Vs Estrada. I have to admit that the beating that Berto gave Estrada exceeds that beating from Cintron. Berto had Estrada looking like he was going to quit within in the middle rounds--a look in him ive never seen (vs Cintron or Mosley)--or I thought his corner was going to stop it. Cintron vs Estrada was more competative, even people were calling it candidate for fight of the year after they fought on ESPN.

I'll go with Berto by late TKO Berto will make him throw alot of punches and I can see Cintron fade in late rounds where Berto doesn't seem to have that problem.

This is what I was afraid of when JT fought Palik ..JT tends to fade in late round
and with a guy like Palik who will keep coming at you is really hard to keep off when your tiring as round goes by I know JT can see those jabs coming but his body just didn't want to move which led to the right hand that startched his ass.
