Sorry if this already been posted but saw this on his facebook
''My next fight is on the 12th February in york hall for souther area title. steve O'meara his 11 fights 0 loss. If you want tickets let me Know a week before the fight please don't wait till the day of my fight. Thank you''
Looks like a decent move for him, Nice and early start to the year and a chance to grab a title.
I met him at the end of last year and he said he was going to really push for fights this year!

Nice move.
I hope he's active in 2010 so that we can find out how far he can go.

Thats a good fight that, O'Meara's been built up quite a bit, went n sparred Floyd aswell didnt he, fair play to both for taking the fight, you'd think both could go a lot further. Although if i'm honest I haven't been sold on O'Meara yet.

Could be a cracking little fight this one. Will tell us a lot about both fighters too.

Interesting fight. O'Meara may be out of his depth but then the fight may force him to up his game. Testing for both.
Good on El Maachi for going the true traditional route.

I remember O'meara's last fight on ITV 4. His defence was awful and he was getting clipped with silly shots constantly. I reckon this will be a big knockout for the El Maachi man.

O'Meara has looked awful so far in his career.
