I think he's on a roll with his predictions, which was backed by knowledge in the sport, noticing the shaky glassy chins and finally making the right prediction.

Wow. good call Zacman.

You are now the Ayatollah of Boxing.

You are still less Godly than me though :smoke

Well, thank you sir! I wasn't gonna post a thread touting yet another successful prediction and chin-exposure, because to me, all of this was obvious, if you looked carefully and analyzed the "progress" of Taylor's career once HBO got him the title - but after 30 years of watching the sport, you develop a "sense" of these things.

So, if you're the Grand Ayatollah, does that mean I'm just an ordinary Ayatollah, now?? :huh :D

Unbiased poster who gives credit to fighters when its due. not being blinded by color/race/religion etc..

Telling it as it is.

And respecting the winner, and not dissing the looser as if the looser were garbage.

fair?

I don't buy into the theory that Wlad has a glass jaw - he's been down, yes, but he's ALWAYS gotten up, unlike a true glass-jawed fighter like Hasim Rahman who gets utterly KTFO multiple times.

Wlad's chin is shaky, no doubt - but like Lennox Lewis, he seems to have been able to overcome his less than ideal punch resistance and come back.

Yeah, I don't get this either. People, as well as Zakman and Amsterdam, are saying they are right, but how? Taylor took a lot of really fucking hard punches before being stopped. Needless to say, by a very, very hard hitter.

If you trsuted either of these two, you would be shocked Taylor made it to the 3rd round. It's probably just a ridiciulous case of hyperbole to prove their point, but Taylor's chin was underestimated by both.

I have no doubt both will ignore the facts, and live in an ignorant bliss that because someone was knocked out, it means they have a bad chin.

By the way, didn't both of you call Berto's chin shit too? After he got knocked down before, i seem to remember a huge fuss being kicked up, headed by the pair of you. Has Berto taking a good number of hard shots proved that wrong too?

Just to summarise, if a 10 is LaMotta or Hagler, Taylor's chin is probably a 7. Not granite, but far away from the 3 or 4 Zakman or Amsterdam would have you think prior to this bout.

Guys chins that aren't shaky typically don't get starched like Taylor did. :-(

Are you having a laugh? Did you see how many punches Taylor took up until the ko? Did you see how many brutal punches Taylor took before actually being put out.

You and Amsterdam are delusional and/or stupid.

Stop disrespecting fighters. Let alone keep disrespecting them when you are wrong.

Taylor proved he has a good chin. Good chins can't keep taking those sort of heavy shots.
