Ok before all of you jump on me let me just explain.

First Winky is getting older, slower and more vulnarable, his style is suited for Pavlik, he comes forward with his guard up and try picking hisshots and score, he dont have enough pop to hurt Pavlik(assuming he wont commit to his punches as usual) and he no longer has the legs to move very well, both would come forward and Pavlik is a lot stronger then winky, if you want a comparison just check how Taylor was roughing Hopkins up in their fights, and now just check how strong Pavlik looked against taylor, Winky was bullied against Hop who seemed and I say seemed stronger at 175 but it was more to do with winky not being a natural 175 pounder.

This would be a great fight, both man would come forward and pick their shots since Pavlik is realy accurate with his punches and winky as a good defense, I think the fight would go something like 10-11 rounds and then WW would be stopped.

His style of covering up with a turtle-like shell and coming forward would spell trouble in my opinion. He would make it competitive though with his jab and straight left, but in the end, I see him getting busted up like never before.

That's about right. Pavlik has the volume punching, power, and stationary style to cause Winky trouble. I'll also add that his left uppercut would be particularly useful in breaking Winky's "Pillow Wall" defense.

Yeah thats what I think too, I think if winky can stillmake 160, Pavlik should make 1-2 defense and get another big name like WW on his resume so he can get some more recognition from the boxing public

Taylor was the one getting roughed up in the fights with hopkins, regardless of who won, taylor got taken into deep water both times and hopkins looked fresh at the end

flicking out a harmless jab then firing a weak left lead. Winky would get hit with hard shots up the middle like he's never felt. plus kelly's jab would back wright up to the ropes where pav would bust WW up bad.

Winky would do best to keep the fight on the inside, where Pavlik would not have enough pop on his shots to really bother him.

Winky also has MUCH better defense, better footwork, and greater handspeed.

I think Winky would win. Winky's hands are faster. Winky also throws lots of shots. Pavlik's defense is not that great, Winky's is; this means that Winky can win rounds.

Pavlik's strength will come into play, but I'm not sure if it's enough to overcome the Winky's titanium wall.

Pavlik is not a monster. A monster is someone like Hagler wyhen you hit him with your hardest punch he doesn't go away. Unfortunatley Winky doesn't have the power of a Hagler or even Taylor so he won't hurt Pavlik. Pavlik wins this fight right now.

Yeah I believe he can beat Winky rightnow. Why? Winky has nothing in his arsennal to stop Pav from moving forward to get him.
