Taylor is hardly a "great" champion. In fact, without the power of HBO, he would never have been a champion of any kind. He got the title on an outrageous gift decision against Hopkins, then got TWO MORE gift decisions to keep it.

Then, he proceeded to fight light-hitting fighters moving up from lower weight classes. Oooh, now that's a real challenge! Jeez, is any fighter who gets a belt strapped around his waste "great" to some of you people?? :patsch

Some of us have higher standards. And that is even moreso the case where a fighter has never even WON a title convincingly, or defended it without substantial question surrounding the verdict!
