Who Watched UFC on ONE HD Last Night?

Ok, So i Dont Watch UFC much, hardly ever acually.

But i always hear people comparing it to Boxing, So Last night i sat down and Watch a whole UFC event.....


HOW the Hell is this compared to Boxing? all Round 1 KO's Because the Guys can't Defend them selves to save there ass.

I Think it Was the Semi main event, it was to Punches going to fight, So i thought JUST maybe we can see some skill here.......FIRST round KO again....MY GOD!

Then Comes the main event. i Cant remember the names but one of them was "Savage", i know his big in UFC, anyway these two were fighting for the 3rd time, and i thought we might see a good fight for the main event.


The Fight starts and the first thing i see is Savage's Oponent Holding his hands up with his Elbows WAY out from his Chest, And i Mean WAY out, Looked like he was going to do the Chicken Dance, Anyway, Cos this guy obviously has little Defence skill it was a round 1 KO.


its clear to me why this sport is so popular, Unlike Boxing You only need a small amount of Brain cells to watch it and you dont need to See the Little things going on in the ring, You just turn up, Get drunk and watch some KO's, UFC better then Boxing? give me a break

Yeah...I have tried to watch it but when they go to ground I would rather watch re runs of my daughters tv shows :patsch

HaHa, Only thing good about the UFC show last night was that it ended and showed the Thrilla In Manilla After it. :happy

Actually i watched Fenech's fight against Callejas on Canvass classic after the UFC.............. Gee Fenech had great stamina and drive back in the day...... Callejas rocked Jeff in the first i think, great fight........Callejas one tough dude.

Yeah i watched that too, It was a good fight for Jeff, He looked great, Only that bother me is that when he hurt Callejas he shoved him or threw him to the deck which only gave the guy a chance to recover, But great fight none the less

How fit did Fenech look?? Incredible!!!

A few of thoe blokes on the Aussie contender and general Aussie fighters overall shld take note about being fit when stepping in the ring.

I suggest you watch some Fedor Emanlianko and also some Anderson Silva fights on youtube and then you might start to understand the skill involved at the top level. I'm a hardcore boxing fan myself but i can appreciate the all around skills of the top level MMA fighters. Someone who is also not a boxing fan could tune into a boxing card on TV and say about boxing with miss matches exactly what you are saying about MMA.

I enjoyed the fights last night.

The use about 4oz gloves mate, wild swings or not if you get caught on the chin your going to go down :deal

They are all round fighters, they do a lot of things pretty good.

Look at the Franklin fight. His legs kicks very fucking hopeless but they worked well. It drives me crazy that most of these guys still havent be taught how to check low kicks with there shins :twisted:

What is more boring on a boxing site then someone posting ignorant opinions about the UFC? Nothing.

No skill becuase they got TKO'd by 4oz gloves! :rofl Flip that around - those boxes must not be able to take a punch because they have to wear big ass gloves. :patsch

actually UFC can be entertaining.I'm into it.
You have your boring fights, and you have your good fights.
Just like boxing.
You need to give it a chance first.I like pretty much any form of fighting.
I wish I recorded it last night!
