Did he hit harder than even Darren Purse?
This will send Carl Froch into a fit of rage in his next interview, Calzaghe has effectively beaten him despite having been out the ring for how long?

Last few minutes of this video.
Calzaghe punched 10% hard than Froch, maybe more, he maxed out the machine so we cannot tell.

But apparently Danny Dyer punched harder than froch and Evander Holyfield lol
Still quite funny though.

I saw Holyfield do it, he just jabbed it.
Nah he was off the roids so it was an accurate test to show who had the most punching power.

In fairness to Froch, he didn't even hit it that hard and had to be persuaded into doing it as he was fighting the following weekend and he said he was worried about damaging his hands

I was on a stag doo recently in spain and we were all having a go, then we started mucking about using the head and elbows etc...
We'll smart arse decided to try and kick it, i had shoes on and was pissed as a newt, went to kick it and my standing leg gave way and i fell a peach.
nearly broke my arm had an egg on my elbow for the rest of the week, but like a true scotsman still managed to keep the glass in my hand, albeit 3/4's of my drink was all over me.
Funny shit though my mates almost pissed their pants....

The machine isn't perfect, but it is accurate enough. It measures the force in teh punch pure and simple.
Calzaghe has more power than Froch, when he choses to use it.

no it was two totally different machines that they used.
Calzaghes machine went up to 10,000 and Frochs only went up to 1,000

He is 46 and 0 in the ring.
He beats Holyfield, Froch, Darren Purse and Danny Dyer on Soccer AM punchbag game.
He beats his own son on the Wii.
No one can beat him.
We miss him now he's gone :deal

Froch said in the local press that meaty mick was going ape at him not to wreck his hand on the punch machine as he was fighting the following weekend.
He also said he screwed his wrist up on one at skegness years ago and dont trust them.

They have exactly the same device in, one just lists the score as 10x, the actually mechanics are identical. Same machine different casing and presentation.

No, he tried.
He cannot throw a straight right that well.
He always knocks people out with dodgy none straight punches.
Carl Froch could never match Calzaghe on one pf those machines.

Being a national amateur champion, I found it hard to believe that some of my mates who've never boxed a day in the life and are even considerably lighter than myself, could get a higher score than me on it.

2 time actually. Won the first when I was 16 at middleweight and the second at 18 (the age I am now) at light heavyweight (although there wasn't much competition at that weight, and i've moved back down to middle). Being a national Junior champ isn't that great a feat in Scotland to be honest because of the lack of competition but never the less, you would think I could punch harder than my steaming mates who've never learnt to throw a proper dig in their lives.

Nice one pal, yeah I know what you mean. I can get ridiculously high on them things and I dont even know how to throw a real punch (orhaven't been taught anyway). They mean nothing.

Actually you probably dont.

Naz hasn't beaten Calzaghe though, I know that much. Even with Naz's weight advantage.
According to Frank ****** Froch turned down the fight with Calzaghe. He was given an offer, turned it down as the money and clauses weren't enough given Froch's lack of confidence in himself.
Zab Judah fought Corey Spinks for 40k. Who did Froch think he was?

I haven't read throught the thread yet, I've just saw 'Calzaghe' 'Lennox' 'Naz' 'Soccer AM' 'Machine'.
For those who are 'pro-machine' - you do know Danny Dyer beat Holyfield on the machine? Someoe correct me if it wans't Holyfield, it was a fucking World Champ I'm sure.
NOW I shall read the thread & get my eye wiped.

Calzaghe beat them all, therefore these machines are accurate enough.
Effort, different machine...none of this needs to be taken into account.

now you are a fairground expert!? You havent a clue and the measurement gauge is set to so settle down.
There could be and probably is a massive variance. A. It means very little anyway B. It means even less because they used different machines.

Films have lead to me believe the result went as expected, especially since Holyfield wasn't a known puncher.
