Neil spoke to us yesterday, and it appears he won't be fighting in arguably the biggest tournament ever in UK MMA.

Other people in it are:

UFC vet Neil Wain
UK MMA legend Tengiz Tendoradze
Pride vet James Thompson
CFC Heavyweight Champ Karlos Vermola
Britain's Strongest Man winner Oli Thompson
UK MMA Title holder Martin Thompson
M1 Challenge's Rob Broughton

That is one stacked tournament!!! Anyone going? It's in London.

I didn't know about this either. I remember watching Oli Thompson in BSM/WSM competitions years ago, didn't know he took up MMA. I done a search and it looks like he has had 2 mma fights already? I must say they have done well to get those fighters listed for this tournament.

Damn good line up for a British card actually, pity Neil Grove is out.

They could probably get Ricco Rodriguez to fill in for him.

He is willing to do smaller shows and is based in the UK at Wolfslair.

If you like the look of it, PLEASE buy a ticket. Rumour from the inside is that the show is on the verge of being cancelled/postponed.

Is going to be the best UK MMA event in a while ;)

It's so hard to follow British MMA now. Even on the internet, info is so scarce. Wish they could get this stuff on tv.

Anyway, shame Grove is out of that. He would have been a great addition.

Is going to be the best UK MMA event in a while ;) They have done well to put this show together. It would be a shame if they have to cancel it.

Anyone got the results for the show? I know they changed the location and a few of the fighters originally planned for the tourny pulled out.

Also, Cage Warriors forums are also great! You might be surprised at 1 or 2 results so far!!!

Whole tourney will can be watched online in a couple of days I am reliably informed.

Heard about the final? Oli T back in even though got stopped an hour ago - Vedepo broke his hand and pulled out!

Yeah, following the pbp on cage warriors. That is one of the bad aspects of these kind of tournys, these things end up happening. Didn't they have an alternate fight?

Well, they were meant to, but apparently, all the promotional shizzle is coming into play.

Sol Gilbert (who runs the show) promotes Oli. It is in his best interests he has a decent chance of winning the tourney. Being stopped by effectively a middleweight does not help his case though lol!!!

Congrats to Broughton for winning the whole thing. Also good to hear that James T got a win. That was one of my preditions for this year. :deal

Yeah, sounds like a good show. Oli T being in the final was defo not a promotional thin g by the way. All the other fighters were too injured to take the place in the final!

Will all be availiable in a couple of days on Cagefilm.com for a tenner. Well worth the investment if you ask me...
