Seen as theres been a thread bashing BN thought I'd do one in praise of them.

I've been really impressed over recent months with their online content, especially the blogs.

I enjoy Danny Flexen's (posts on here occasionally) writing and his Living The Dream blog gives a light hearted insight into the world of boxing journalism and often has me laughing to myself at work with some of his anecdotes.

Dave Coldwell (also can be seen popping up on here) is imo one of the most respected men in boxing and seems a top bloke, his Caldwell's corner gives a great insight into one of the main men in british boxing.

Craig Birch's (who writes/wrote for my local paper) midlands round up is for me whop is from that area a great little way for some of our local lads to get a bit of publicity.

Anyways I dont work for Boxing News honest! I just think aswell as the magazine continuing imo its weekly high standard, the internet side of BN has really improved over the last year or two.

Anyone on here read the site, any other views?

I agree re: Pacquiao Mayweather negotiations.

Coldwell's blog after the Rhodes Moore fight was quality.

Yep, Danny's blog is quality as is Coldwell's. They have some other good stuff as well, such as stuff from interviews that didn't make it into the magazine.

Site is pretty poor as a news site and look at the rankings, months if not years out of date. Danny's blogs are alright. Coldwell's are dull in the main though post-Rhodes/Moore one was good. Videos are rubbish as well.

Fair enough Danny. I looked up the welterweight rankings the other day and it was well out of date. Might have been a caching issue. For the record, I like the new layout of the magazine with guest columnist and readers' page at front.
