Tonight proved what I thought, Junior Talipeau was robbed during the Contender and why....Well because he is truly one man that might defeat Mundine.

Nader a man Mundine could not even rock was dropped by the very first punch Junior decided to throw and then was rocked moments later by the 2nd punch......

Junior Talipeau vs Anthony Mundine.........THIS SHOULD TAKE PLACE! because Junior Talipeau was robbed of his chance in the Contender and if he was not robbed he most likely would have become the champion.

to answer your question, kariz was definitely the best fighter on the contender.

sure, it was pretty rigged & mundine would not fight junior due to risk. doesnt mean junior would win, unfortunately.

Hamden wasnt going to go easy, I thought if he got to middle/late rounds he was in with a chance.

It was only a 5 round fight dude. He could of come back and IMO given Nader's experience probably would have. But he would have to overcome a pretty horror start.

With only 5 rounds to play with I think he would have struggled to chop JT down.

did anyone watch the Junior fight? I mean did you really watch it? Nader took a flash Punch and sure he got up until the next shot landed which set him back to the ropes and he was gone for a few seconds.....He came back with a few shots which did not land and then Junior landed another flash punch just before the head clash.

Sure nothing was 100% but I would bet money on the fact he would smack any of those Contender guys (no disrespect to Wood for his hard tough win tonight which was great to see) BUT saying that Junior should have at least had the chance to fight for that belt.

Think of it this was....WOOD v MUNDINE....ehh does anyone really care... Junior vs Mundine would have had the making of a great fight.

It was a good punch, but Nader definitely wasn't hurt.

Junior would have won, but he's only KOd 5 blokes in almost 20 fights and a lot of them were very weak. You have to doubt his ability to really hurt pro fighters.

It was over. Poor silly, startled old man. It was gonna be 100 times worse than anything he faced in the Contender and he knew it. Watch it again if you need to. This one was never going to go 3 rounds. Nader's lucky it ended like it did.
