Former undisputed HW champion "Big Daddy" Bowe has a bout scheduled for next august 03. His handpicked rival is a bum who's winless in his last seven fights and just 1 - 11 since 1999, and all those 11 losses have come by way of KO. He's also 42 and just 5'10". Last time Bowe was seen inside a ring was more than two years ago, when he struggled against lightly regarded Billy Zumbrun to win a SD. He weighed in at a whopping 280 lbs for that fight, 40 lbs removed from his prime weight. Is Riddick looking forward to a fourth and last Holy match? We'll see.

Bowe-Douglas coming soon in a theater near you, if they don't lose weight it could become a belly bumping contest.

Whats next? The return of Lennox Lewis? Then we could have the clash of the titans - titled "The Clash of the Titan - the later years".

Don't bet against it. Boxing comebacks are the rule, not the exception. Although Bowe is SO far gone, I doubt much interest could be drummed up for the "logical" fights against Lewis, Tyson or Holyfield.

You can gaurantee this fight does not take place. If it does, riddick will walk into the ring at 300lbs, and that is with a few weeks of training.

Regardless of form - I would like to see those 4 fight it out once more. It would be at least as entertaining as any other HW fights, imho.

There aren't many fighters that I absolutely despise. Usually, I look at it philisophically- sports are entertainment, and they are entertaining me. Just like in a movie, there are relative good guys and bad guys; heros, villains, anti-heros and anti-villains.

But Riddick Bowe is a piece of shit. Always has been, always will be. He is a lazy, trash-talking coward who minimized great talent, lost fights he should have won, hand picked opposition, chickened out of megafights, renegged on deals, degraded opponentsw, contributed to riots, and made a general asshole out of himself wherever he went.

And he's a criminal.

Fuck him. He deserves what he gets.

This cant be good for his health. The guy has obvious brain damage.

Bowe's health isn't with him, I don't think it's safe for him to be allowed to continue boxing.

When part of your defense in a federal trial includes "insanity cause by brain damage from boxing"....you should never be allowed in the ring again.

A Swedish show in September is promoted as the return of Bowe and Seldon. Only four rounds are allowed in Sweden and that should suit Bowe just fine.

Listen to him trash-talking to his next opponent here:

I'm usually all for old ATG getting back into the ring, especially when it's against other ATGs. But Bowe is shot to hell and he is punchy. He clearly shows signs of parkinsons and he should not be cleared to fight in ANY state based on his health.

Besides I want to see Michael Moorer vs Holyfeld 2.they already fought a second time

Lennox, if he came back would be ranked at least top five nowadays, so if he came back to fight Bowe, it would basically be legalised murder. Bowe has NOTHING at all left. Most shot fighters usually have something, like a bit of pop in thier punch or still a decent jab, but Bowe has literally no skills left.

Please God I hope he does not get licensed. He seems like a really nice guy ...

Maybe you like him because your nickname resembles his state but a nice guy? Sucked punching Larry Donald during a press conference, throwing a glass (not plastic) of water at them, etc. The guy was a punk.

Seeing Golota & Bowe in the ring together at this stage would be eerie...almost dream like.

Golota KO Bowe 5.

Golota-Bowe III would be awful for Riddick. Golota wouldn't have time to get himself DQd before Bowe was flat on the deck for the ten-count.

The last time I saw him in the ring he looked very bad aginst Zumbrun. I do not think he has something good to add to the heavyweight division at this point. He should stay retired.

It just seems like yesterday, Billy did enough to retire Riddick..

I felt sorry for him..

I was in the gym 2 days before he went to Cali to box Bowe..

He was sparring with Cisse Salif and training very hard with his coach Cornelius Boza Edwards......

Billy tried very hard for that fight and came back distraught ..

Bowe just getting by on his former glory i think..

I think a senior tour would be great for boxing. Like they do with golf which draws huge crowds. They would be more evenly matched fighting guys their age. I think it would be great!

WTF. Is their a boxing "Senior" tour starting up. When's Ike Getting out? Does anybody have Bonecrusher Smith's number? I'm sure Razor Ruddock ain't doing shit.

I posted before i read this post. I think it (senior tour)would generate a big following.

Is he any worse than, say, Tyson in this respect?

Ruddock is selling his new product , his trash crushing space saving bustbin device..

Bonecrusher is working as a cruise agent , selling holidays on board cruise liners from his home in Lillington NC..

Mike Weaver works as a boxerobics instructor in California.. he looks incredible for his age..

Glad Bonecrusher and Weaver are doing well, both nice guys by reputation (especially Weaver).

The Ruddock 'head in a bin' advert is very memorable!
