I've been training in Muay Thai for several years and really love it.
Unfortunately there is no ground fighting gym in my area whether it be Sambo/BJJ/wrestling......so i don't really train in MMA.:(
Does anyone here do it?
What do you train in! :good

Ive trained frequently with a guy who used to train in Ju-Jitsu. He helped me develop the basics but we know longer train together. I did Karate as a child but thats nothing in MMA. I have 15 amateur boxing fights. There are MMA gyms in my area theres a mainly Karate one of about 5 minutes from here they run MMA but its like only once a week so fuck it. I rode past a Tae-Kwan Doe gym early but I have no intrest in that. Theres the Renzo Gracie BJJ gym in Canton on Boston Street thats like 6 blocks away from my work but its over a 100 bucks a month for atleast a 1 year contract. What happens if I lose my job and cant get another one some time im fucked in a contract. For know ill go back to Boxing but to a new gym this time.

Been training in Boxing and BJJ on an off due to school and work, doing some judo as well. Also gone to a few MMA specific school, but it turned out the MMA school was run by a blue belt from my BJJ instructor so I kinda figured it as a bit of a waste.

Currently boxing, have trained BJJ, MMA specificaly, very little MT.
I am thinking of boxing all week and doing BJJ once a week, then go back to my old gym in Philly/NJ (2 locations) and train MT. It is a great school that has real UFC fighters come in.

I have 9 pro bouts, with a record of 7-2.
used to train boxing and kick boxing for fitness only.....am a first dan at judo, trained from age of 6 till about 19...aint been on a mat for years.....i used to run a mma style club many years ago, just a kinda animal day for all and sundry thru invitation only, and i now do mma training when possible, again, for general fitness.....my mate has a fight coming off in a few weeks and iv been doing a lot of pad work and grappling with him to keep his sharpness up...he reports that he is handling the guys in his weight class (14stone...) much easier after rolling with me...(20 stone and strong as a bull!!..)...
