Who delivered classic virtuoso perfomances? And how did they do it, how was it a virtuoso perfomance?

Sugar Ray Robinson on Jake LaMotta.
Muhammad Ali on Joe Frazier.

All done by style, grace and efficiency.

Thanx for the audience.

Am I missing something here??

What about MUHAMMAD ALI VS CLEVELAND WILLIAMS??

Surely one of the ultimate virtuoso performances of all time in terms of being in his finest hour and being the best that he could possibly be putting it all together without putting one foot wrong? Mesmerising speed, spellbinding flurries, decimating a dangerman without getting touched once himself

Ali - Norton 2. Probably a little boring for a 'fight fan' but Muhammad was dancing for easily 10 rounds if added up. Flurrying, He wanted it bad and showed a serious and determined virtuoso performance.

Reminded me of his cassius days.

Calzaghe vs Lacy, ok Lacy isnt the strongest opponent but he was the best US fighter and IBF champ so its a legit championship fight.

It is a joy to watch personally, just a power boxing clinic full of skill and flair, he was clowning the bloke by the 2nd round, a very talented fighter was Calzaghe and kind of old-school in his ethos IMO.

Definitely the much maligned Joe Calzaghe's win over Lacy...and Ken Buchanan over Donato Paduano. Also Gomez-Zarate and Sanchez-Gomez.

1. Arguello vs Mancini- A very competitive fight, mancini threw everything he had at Arguello. After the Mancini said he felt like Arguello was analyzing everything he did and was just setting him up with stuff to use against him later. Arguello has many fine performances and this ranks up there with any of them imo!

2. Sweet Pea vs Azumah Nelson- No doubt not Nelson's best weight, and I didn't believe he would win this one anyway, but Pea mad Nelson look incredibly slow and almost amaturish at times. Don't remember anyone taking such a 1 sided performance against nelson. Pea at his best in my book.

McIlvanney said that Paduano wore the expression of a man who'd just sucked on an exploding cigar. Alaways makes me laugh

Bobby Chacon TKO9 Danny Lopez is one that deserves a shout, Little Red didn`t win a single round and was taken to school by the "Schoolboy" in what was the best performance of Bobby`s career by far.
