Pacquiao returned his WBC Inter title a while back because it placed him as JMM's mandatory.

So Pacman does not hold that belt and according to them they want to give the opportunity to some other boxer to pick it up.

It is my understanding that Mosley is being stripped because he didn't want to defend it against Cotto and the WBC won't have none of that. Thats more of Mosley's fault IMO.

Thats what Im referring to, the WBC Interim belt. The WBC want their fee for defending the Interim belt and since they are not getting paid they much rather just strip mosley and give it to someone that pays.

Casamayor wanted to unify the WBC title and WBO title with Acelino Freitas and so the WBC stripped him because they wanted him to face a mandatory instead and then gave the title to David Diaz to be defended against Erik Morales, which meant more cash for them. :-(

In the end Casa was left without his title and without the Freitas fight.
