I got Miranda by late KO...

people discount Miranda just because he got KO'd by Pavlik..... he was definitely not the same fighter, and even with Pavlik's bombs, he got up at least once from a Knock down. Guy has a decent chin and showed courage.
I think Taylor wins a close UD, but it would not shock me one bit to see Miranda KO taylor

I think Taylor takes it on points but there is a real chance that Miranda could KO Taylor late if Taylor runs out of Gas.:bart

Miranda would walk through Taylor.

Miranda would walk through Taylor.
Exactly. Now that's his shaky whiskers have been exposed, expect him to get starched again as soon as he takes on a top fighter. Miranda would destroy him, and early too.:yep

:rofl :rofl :rofl Taylor is the far better PUNCHER than Miranda, Miranda has more power but it does no good if you can't deliver it. Pav will tell you himself who the better puncher is and it isn't the crude Miranda.
It also took Pav longer to get Taylor out of there than Miranda. So by that logic who has the better chin? (I think they are pretty even, both good but not great chins) Plus skill, handspeed, and experience all go to Taylor. The only thing Miranda has on Taylor is maybe stamina and raw power, and I would say ring intellgence but Taylor is more versatle a fighter.

Taylor by KO. Miranda is far too crude to beat Taylor IMO.

Taylor by decision or Miranda by TKO...either one could happen, but I'd lean with Taylor by UD

I think both of these guys are a bit chinny. Miranda has more power, but lacks skill. We know Miranda is mentally tough.
This depends on how Taylor recovers. mentally, after being KOed. If he becomes timid like Jones did, Miranda walks through him. If Taylor decides to use the jab, he can win (a legit) UD or score a KO.

Edison Miranda KO 9 Jermain Taylor, behind on the scorecards(legit).

I've got Taylor by unanimous decision or possible late stoppage. Miranda is not skilled enough imo. I would like to see this fight

This would be DlH-Mayorga II, same result Taylor by mid to late round stoppage winning every round.

taylor by ko, taylor did the one thing miranda couldn't and that was hurt pavlik.

I think it should be a competitive fight. Could be a JT UD or Miranda KO as someone noted above. I voted for a Miranda KO. Pavlik got off to a bad start vs JT. But he still finished Taylor the first time he visibly shook him in the 7th.
Pavlik got off to a good start vs Miranda and still needed 7 to stop him.
It's not that I think JT has a bad chin - too many are quick to say so and so has a bad chin. I wonder how many here have ever really been hit flush in a fight. I'd infer not too many. :think But Taylor doesn't have an iron jaw and Miranda is an above average puncher. A JT UD is very realistic too.

That's part of my reasoning along with better skills & speed. :deal

I think Taylor frankly starches him within five rounds. People seem to forget Taylor nearly knocked Pavlik out in the second round and Miranda couldnt even stun him...

And according to Taylor, it cost him the only KO he has ever received. There is little chance that he does that again, unless Miranda starts taunting him or throwing low blows (Taylor does have a bit of a temper in the ring if you rile him).

Pavlik has a worst chin of them all.
Taylor only been down once, Miranda twice....Pavlik 4 times and 3 of them to journeymen....
I think Taylor beats Miranda and Pavlik in the rematch. There no substitute for being able to BOX!!!

We should find out next. I would love to see those two fight, with the winner fighting Pavlik.

Yeah, but as the fight with Pavlik showed, you need a CHIN to go along with it, otherwise you're liable to be knocked the f*ck out! :yep
Which is exactly what will happen to the shaky-chinned Taylor, if he fights Miranda, or Pavlik again. :nod
