I don't think hatton can stand with katsidis in the centre ring, he needs to take it to the ropes and bully effectively. Unfortunately his pride will make him trade with katsidis shot for shot.

Imo Hatton would be way too strong for Kats, even in the middle of the ring Hatton can box fairly effectively and his jab is underrated by many.

Ricky was blown away by Pac , yes. If he fights Katsidis assuming he has anything left at all he will beat him silly. Ricky would not have gone down against any version of Graham Earl. He has mixed in a higher class, and with success. Ricky in a bloody 4 to 8 round stoppage victory, how long depends on how much the ref and Kat can stomach.

It would be fun though

Yeah agree. It would be a real good fight imo. I would expect Hatton to be too good with the fight being at either 140 or 147 but you never know i suppose when a fighter is coming back from brutal defeats.

Hatton's people are being smart if they pick Katsidis. He is smaller, not a huge puncher, and not very skilled. He is someone who is going to stand in front of Hatton and make an exciting fight. He also cuts up very badly in most of his fights. It would be an exciting fight while it lasts.

Its getting to the stage though where he spends so long getting into a fit state to fight,that not enough time is spent working on a gameplan.Hatton is getting old and if he were as serious about fighting as he says he is,he would be training in Aus not watching tennis and no doubt getting himself first in line at every barbi in Melbourne.Oh forgot to mention the drink,do you serve guiness in Aus?If not some bar owner should import a few barrels,Ricky will soon take care of them.
