Ernesto Magana gets a lifetime dishonorable mention for his completely awful showing in Roberto Duran-Davey Moore.

Paul Sita also for his complete incompetence during Freddie Norwood-Derrick Gainer.

I don't like Michael Ortega either.

I like Kenny Bayless as well. And if we stretch this into a discussion about commentators as well, I know this is near sacrilege but I can't stand Larry Merchant.

I don't understand all the praise for Joe Cortez

He was a solid ref years ago, but he's not any good anymore. He's done some awful jobs lately.

Not the worst but he is definately up there. I believe he has taken payoffs as well to be honest.

the worst is probably the guy who was the referee for gatti-gomez.

Nady is horribly inconsistent. Frank Cappucino isnt too bad but again his old and inconsistent.The worst though is Vic Drakulich.His just a pain in the ass. The guy is always interfering and just doesnt let a fight flow.His simply officious as Larry one said.

Nady sucks dick, the ref job he did in the Maskaev/Rahman fight was horrible, he warned Maskaev for holding when it was clear Rahman was the one holding. It was the first time I ever wished for the ref to get knocked out in the ring, he really bothers me.

As a Barrera fan I couldnt stand Nady before Marquez fight so now I really cant stand that idiot. I remember he took a point away from Vargas for hitting Trinidad low but only after Don King complained to Nady between rounds saying Trinidad was getting low too. Nady didnt give Vargas a warning first. In the 12th round Nady wouldnt stop the fight even though Trinidad was just taking target practice on Vargas' head.

Good to see R Steele getting some mention as a bad ref. Never liked his style. He was way too active in the ring - like he was some failed boxer or something. Would pounce to break up fighters before they even got close to clinching. :blood Hey Richard, give the guys a few seconds to fight out of a near clinch ! :-(
