Pavlik has only really stepped up his last two fights, Kessler and Joe have consistently fought a higher level of comp for much longer.

When Calzaghe 1st burst onto the scene many years ago i was not impressed, thought he was overated etc but in the last 5-6 years he has totally convinced me he is a top quality fighter.

He did beat a great in his 1st ever title fight and whilst Eubank was past his best he still went on to give cruiserweght champ Thompson the fights of his life.
