i think if it goes the distance Danny will get outboxed - but if he gets the Magic Man on the ropes i think he could def. get a TKO in the later rounds

This is my concern - although April is a fair way off, it isn't really in boxing time, and if Tarver is assured a big $$$ fight vs Dawson, he may well pull out of fighting Green :roll:

He is after that rematch with Paulie Malignaggi, as it states in the contract.
Looks like he may get his wish in early December.
I fear another big points loss to Lovemore.

he has a punchers chance at best - but he has a heart as big as pharlap so i do like him as a fighter

Has given all he has got in regards to his ability.
Should be proud of his solid career.

Just read on another forum a post by Stuart Duncan (sam solimans manager) saying that his american connections tell him that Tarver is on the verge of pulling out:patsch

I'll try and find out if there's any truth to it let's hope it's just rumours:(

Danny deserves this sort of opportunity.

I think Tarver will still fight Danny.

Maybe he sees Danny as a poorer version of Dawson and wants a good sparring session before taking on Dawson 5 months later.

I think Tarver need to generate some PR for the Dawson fight so Green could have some value for him and he will be focused to perform well so Green could be in trouble
