Would've been a pretty good fight. Who would've taken it, and how?

This is actually a tougher fight to prediction then mostt think due to the fact thta Lewis never fought a southpaw

Not only that, but people often underestimate Moorer's power at heavyweight. He wasn't the animal he was at light heavyweight, but he could still crack at HW.

Moorer at his best could possibly crack Lewis' chin with a straight left. As I remember, Lewis was kinda fragile in 94 and he wasn't as refined, while Moorer was wrecking people at that point.
There were some talks about the two meeting before Lewis got stopped by McCall.

Lewis by KO in 5.
this fight was propsed in feb 1992 but moorer`s people turned it down and they ended up having a double header on the same bill v trialhorses.
shame it was not put on.

Moorer with his chin against a lewis that threw some huge bombs = ko win for lewis in my opinion.

The aggressive nature of both men would have set a fast ferocious pace from bell #1 and around the 3rd round Moorer would have been caught on the ropes and stopped by a fast devestating barrage that would have forced a TKO stoppage.. Great while it lasted..

Whoever lands the first big shot on the other guy's shaky whiskers wins. :nod

Shakey whisker's, lewis has a pretty good chin but with your bias and him not being american it's not hard to see why you think his chin's weak.

Lewis would outbox him then rip his head off. Inside 3!

In the heavyweight divsion you never know, it only takes 1 punch as lewis has found out twice already.
logic tells you Lewis by kayo.

Lewis by pretty early knockout. He has all the advantages.

I don't think Moorer's chin is as weak as people make it seem.

you don't stay standing and come back from most of those shots if you are weak chinned.

I don't think either of them necessarily have weak chins, but rather unreliable.
I THINK MOORER WOULD GIVE LEWIS A LOT OF TROUBLE......I KNOW HE HAS A SHAKY CHIN BUT HIS JAB IN 94 WAS SUPERB AND HES A SOUTHPAW....HARD TOO SAY TOO BAD THEY DIDNT FIGHT.:smoke:smoke:smoke

Lewis would find a way to win he would naturally have trained to fight a southpaw and his size, power, and yes, chin would all be advantages he'd use. (BTW, anyone know if Lewis fought any southpaws in the olympics?)
