something cool happened!

hey guys,
I don't post alot but have been a regular visitor for a while now, reading all the wise ( and some not so wise! ) info posted here. I just wanted to share with other boxing fans, my old man is the manager of a hardware store here, and a guy he knows needed some mesh delivered on a sunday, when they're normally closed. So dad, the good bloke that he is, delivered it for him and they got talking, turns out the guy trains at sam solimans gym, and dad told him i was a boxing fan so a few weeks later he turned up with a signed glove from sam for me, pretty cool way of saying thanks i thought!

I would love to, but i don't have austar and it's not on normal tv! Is there a good website to keep track of how it's all going, i heard sam won his last fight but some ppl thought he didn't look that sharp, is that true?

yeah he looked a little sloppy and got tagged with some pretty average shots - but he is so well conditioned that he can throw alot of punches and often looks pretty good. He needs to work on his accuracy and defense, his heart and fitness wont get him past guys like Codrington etc. Lets hope he picks it up for his next fight! :happy

Thanks mate, i just got on the contender website, pretty obvious choice hey! I'll def keep up to date with it all there, lets hope he does it for the green and gold! Sounds like bika could be a big danger in the tournament though....
