It's yet to be made official but Paulie is fullfiling the rematch clause fighting N'dou.

This will take place on the Hatton vs PBF undercard.

I have a feeling this fight will resemble Sanchez/Pacquiao. Lovemore's only chance is to make this a very dirty fight.

Not really all that excited for this rematch.

it's all about money for n'dou now. can't blame him really. i mean he got outclassed every round verses paulie and more embarrasingly he even got rocked by the light hitter. considering lovemore used to have an iron chin, it's obviously starting to show cracks.

i imagine it'll be a carbon copy repeat of the first fight. must suck for paulie. to have to get all motivated again for a fighter who you beat so soundly first time round

Paulie boxed well in the first bout, but Lovemores bread and butter is fighting on the inside. Eddie Cotton wouldn't let that happen at all, hopefully whoever is ref this time will let them battle it out a little which would make for a more entertaining fight and square the ledger a little.

Bleh. First one was a blowout, I can't really see how the second could be any different. I guess it's better than any of the DLH-PBF undercard fights though.

Totaly agree. N'dou does not deserve the rematch as he was totaly outclassed last time around.

How is it a waste of time? It's not a waste of time for Lovemore. He's 35 years old and it's his best shot at a nice payday. It's not a waste of time for Paulie. He's a young man who will make a good payday himself, and if he handles N'dou as easy as you say, he'll be ready to fight again soon after.

Besides, was Paulie lined up for some mega-fight that fell through once Lovemore asked for his contract mandated rematch?

Seems just like an easy match up for Maliagnaggi before his giys put him with a money making fighter.

Who's next after?

Why the hell is there a rematch? What did N'Dou do to deserve one?

Ndou-Malignaggi I had a rematch clause. Paulie wasn't ranked in the top ten when Lovemore gave him the title shot. Because of this, Ndou's team demanded the contract have a rematch clause.

So we get this boring shit again.

I really hate rematch clauses

You know, not only is this a shitty fight in and of itself, it's a TERRIBLE choice for the Mayweather/Hatton undercard.

For the love of God, if you know there aren't likely to be haymakers exchanged in the main event, put a couple of brawlers in there to satisfy the crowd's bloodlust.

This is boxing's problem. Always thinking short-term, not concerned with winning and keeping fans over the longer-term.

No you are mistaken , Paulie doesnt want this fight. But N'dou is pursuing a rematch clause that was in the contract. Paulie was calling out Hatton non stop after he beat Ndou. That is the fight Paulie claims he wants than anything, and a rematch with Cotto.

paulie the fruit would get destroyed against hatton.....
My question to you is....has he ever said anything about hair gel impairing his vision during fights?

He fought pretty well with what looked like a severely broken bone in face against Cotto and didnt complain. Paulie is a tough guy with a very solid chin and heart, dispite what you think of his hair.

I don't care for cotto much but he has alot of heart and he's determined and undefeated. To say that Cotto is a hype job is a stretch after he starched our N.Y based Judah.

Cotto is not a hype job. But he is being rated too highly for what he has accomplished. He was the 3rd straight fighter to beat Judah (NC doesn't mean much). And if Paulie is a hype job....well that basically deprives Cotto of one of his best wins.

Paulie is no hype job either, but Hatton and Witter would beat him and badly at 140.

This is a pointless fight, I thought Malignaggi's people would give Ndou some money to just go away, but aparently Ndou want another chance. I can't help but feel that Paulie may have a lackluster performance this time around, I mean he already beat the guy 11 rounds out of 12 last time around, how much better can he do? He doesnt have the power to take Ndou out, I think this fight will be much closer and more uglier as Ndou tries to make it close rough fight, I don't think paulie will get up 100% for Ndou, and who can claim him.

Is that true? i hadn't heard that, if it's true than it's a smart move by Ndou. What better work to get in than to spar with the best boxer on the planet. PBF does everything Malignaggi does only times 3.

No i wasn't saying he was a hype job. You stated paulie will get starched when he steps up his comp, and I was saying like Cotto. As in when he stepped up in comp to Cotto he got that ass beat.

YUP thats right, and he has been sparing with two aussie prospects Daniel Geale and Rob Medley who are fighting for IBO world titles next week.

This isnt lovmores last chance because he is seen as a good gatekeeper, Im still goin for Lovemore, but im not goin to mouth off like i did before the first fight he had with Paulie :-(

I actually think that Paulie is starting to put together a strength game. He has had healthy hands for this last year and he is starting to sit on his punches. Keep in mind that not even COTTO dropped n'dou.

I don't get why most fight fans hate on Paulie. I understand why the Hatton fans hate on Paulie because he talk shit about Hatton was fighting a shot fighter which he was right about. I don't understand why every1 else hate him too.He a really good boxer who has everything except power. You don't need power to win a boxing match and it takes more courage to step in the ring knowing that you cant knock the guy out and still beat him.

People mention that Paulie got his ass kick by Cotto but remember that was Cotto toughest fight and Cotto only won by 2 rds. Let me ask you Hatton fans a question who has Hatton fought that was in his prime? nobody. I think the winner of Paulie vs Witter which is a very good fight that would be very close fight should fight Hatton. The winner of Paulie vs Witter would beat Hatton like PBF is gonna beat him.

I agree completely... Even though I was going for Paulie, I couldn't believe the shit the ref was doing in the last fight. Absolutely NO fighting was allowed on the inside which made for a boring fight that only allowed Malignaggi to show his outside slick boxing ability.Eeven when there was no holding going on, the ref still stepped in and seperated them. WTF?!?! With someone like Smoger in there I think this fight could have been alot more competitive (although I still see Paulie winning).

Hopefully we see a little more action in this next one...

Ndou is floyds chief sparring partner..So Floyd probably gave him the hook up. Plus Paulie shows Floyd a lot of respect. So seems like Ndou should be some what prepared as he is getting rounds in with Mayweather.

Are you serious? Do you really believe that Paulie has no chance Against Hatton? Who has Hatton fought that box? Collazo was the fastest guys Hatton face and he beat Hatton. I think Paulie and Witter would beat hatton and make Hatton look stupid while doing it. After Hatton get humalited by PBF he's not going fight either Witter or Paulie. After Hatton gets humalited he going to be known is one big hype job.
