ESB Official Rankings: Nominate Yourself

In the ongoing saga of ESB's debut official rankings, to be voted on this Sunday, our initial committee also will vote on the addition of new members.

It's easy. If you think you have what it takes to get 2/3 approval from the 18 members of the board, give it a shot! If you're unclear about the nature of the project, please click on the sticky thread at the top of the page and click on page 4. That's the latest draft of the Constitution.

If you're voted in, you'll be eligible to vote for the rankings in November.

Two things:

1) You must have 1,000 posts on this site to nominate yourself.

2) You must nominate yourself by Saturday morning 8:00am USA EST.

3) If you don't make it, you may not apply again for six months. If you don't think you've quite established youself here yet, probably best to hold off.

4) All self-nominations must be posted on this thread. Please don't post somewhere else.

Also from the European side I would say that Jens S and Sean are some of the more even keeled posters with a big knowledge even they do not post that much.

Sure. What I'll do is include the list of nominees on the Official Voters Thread, along with my yahoo email address (it gets spammed heavily already), and you can just send me an email with your votes on those posters.

I think it's very important to make the rankings votes public, while keeping the nomination votes private.

Actually, I think having a second person to receive those emails would be good for integrity purposes, because otherwise you guys won't know if I'm being honest. :nut
