Vinny Mitchell's record seems to consist of going over old ground to keep ticking over. He ain't feared fighter so i don't get why he's fighting Baguley again.

I've seen vinnie at york hall a couple of times, hes a slick lil fighter and a nice guy actually. He's gonna take some time to step up though, theres a few good fighters above him at super-feather ur crolla's, foster jrs, cooks, fehintolas, burns etc he's quite a way off yet but at 22 ****** can afford to do what he does best and be cautious!

Vinny Mitchell is not great and is getting the Matthew Hatton treatment to keep the older brother happy.
Walsh could be a good level fighter in a few years.

Which one of the Walsh's is the really promising one?
One is supposed to be very good, one less so, and the other very average.....

to use the word "bum" is a little disrespectful, bauguley may not be the greatest fighter but he gives 100%, however mitchell should be stepping up a level if he doesent want to stagnate and move forward..

I agree with this, Baguely always gives it a 100% and comes to fight, to call him a bum is very disrespectful, my idea of a bum is someone that sits around in his house all day drinking and doing nothing, not a guy that is fighting every month.:nono

Biggest and best promoter in the UK delivers this for one of his prospects. Says alot about the state of the game and how many things need to change. Mitchell will be paid from the money the fans generate so this fight is an insult. This is Vinny's 3rd rematch against a nobodie. Vinny has fought nine 4 rounders.
How does ****** get away with destroying boxing like this!

if vinny wasnt kevins baby brother i feel he would have been exposed by now as the competition would have been stiffer, there is every chance baugley would have come on more than mitchel since they last fought with baugley having fought evans and crolla and mitchell fighting nobody of note
Baguley gave Vinny a few problems the first time round :think

Yeah he's awkward and can make life hard at times. About 18 months or so he was on a FFN Undercard and i remember him hurting a unbeaten fighter and taking him into deep waters to lose on decision. He's not to bad...but as Danny says Vinnie's not being moved on quick for obvious reasons.
Nah, Mitchell's got a bit more experience now and SHOULD be able to take it comfortably.

Yeah there's not debating that. He fought Jon when he was 3-0 so he should beat him comfortably although he's there to be beaten Vinny is...not sold on him.
The lad he fought i was talking about he actually gt a draw it was on under card of Brook-Mcintryre. Lad was called George Watson.
Anyone know how many rounds this is over?

He is "destroying boxing" because he is matching Vinny against Baguley again in a fight that is unlikely to be televised?
Yep, Frank should be revoked of his promoting license because of this.

Yeah he is. He's gone on from that fight and doing ok.
Yeah i like to see six three's myself. Baguley pushed him hard and has pushed many others. He always seem to nick a round or two. He will give Mitchell a workout that he may need to start year off.

havent seen anything off george since the fight...
4x3s would be better than these 4x2 or 6x2 mins rounds they do, proffesional boxing is about the 3mins rounds, baguely is tough but limited to area level (central area champion) and if vinny cant beat him comfortably it looks doubtful hes gonna do anythng

Agreed
Has Vinny gone with Jimmy Tibbs along with Kevin??? If so then maybe we may see a bit more of the talent some people speak of.

The problem with Vinny (same with Kevin) is that they turned pro to young. They have had to tread water with him for a few years. Happens with allot of fighters, Clev was simular look at his first 10 fights.

Yea i agree with this, however i dont think the treading water thing is 2 bad 4 a fighter with less amateur fights. Kevin was a standout amateur and his aggresive style suited the pro's so the early move made sense. Vinny's clearly the less skilled of the bro's and will need more fights hone his skills. The most obvious case of ppl taking alot of easy fights before the step up is the julio cesar chavez family, neither of which had many amateur fights and tons of fights before anything remotely like a step-up.
I do feel however that it asks 2 much of fight fans to pay £30-40 minimum to see poor quality fights, in this case 1 people have seen already!
On the walsh subject I completely agree with the previous poster, liam is the most skilled, michael is the strongest and ryans imrpoving every fight. Confident kids 2 with a good following

Baguley is a decent fighter IMO.
He has had a few dodgy points decisions go against him - not saying he could push for titles but is far better than an average journeyman.

It is nice to see upsets. Vinny can come back from this and will still be an ok lower level operator. Far better he lost now than further down the line.
