I seriously don't see the point. He lost convincingly the first time..I don't see how things will change for him this time around..

He may do better.

He had an injured right hand when they fought and imo Diaz is 0-3 in his last three fights with a brutal ko in there.

I'd rather this fight than Guerrero.

Katsidis should just focus on Guerrero.....and after the fight then go for Diaz

Kats/Diaz on the Mosley/Floyd card

Now that would be nice. :thumbsup

Yes it would.....is the Katsidis v Guerrero fight not yet signed?

Going off the statement Katsidis put out, I'd say it's not signed at all. The purse might have been lousy, but it's clear Katsidis doesn't want the Guerrero fight at all.

pride, self belief he keeps calling out Pac too which is career suicide IMO but he obviously has alot of belief in himself.admirable even if misguided in others opinions.hes a all action fighter who is great too watch.enjoy it while it lasts.

I think katsidis would bring the heat to a rematch and win by stoppage, diaz has to be lacking in confidence at the moment. This over guerrero any day.

Ok...I guess I should have read the link :nut

The first fight was a toe to toe war...like most of rocky fights however even though it was very close....maybe 1 round in it I just think Diaz has got the answers for rockys style.

Diaz has great movement both ways when Katsidis moves forward leaning over....he's just so open to the step aside counter left right hook and uppercut....rocky looks off balance when he's moving forward leaning over and thats where he gets caught.

From memory Katsidis did eat some huge uppercuts and hooks....and most of them were counters because rocky wont cover up after a combo and leaves his hands down most of the time after round 6 and tries to use upper body movement as defence.

In the end rocky is great to watch however I wish he would work more on defence

I had the fight a draw when I scored it....now we know that dont mean shit but I dont see how you could say he lost the fight convincingly :huh

If you watch it without the sound it is not the ass whooping kellerman would want you to believe, he had katsidis marked down as "the new gatti" long ago and won't waver from his initial assessment. It's painful to hear him go on about is he good or is he great every time katsidis fights.

I personally think the fight will end up the same way as the first one with Diaz winning. I hope I'm wrong if it does go ahead.

Yeah mate....tend to agree

Rocky needs to find fighters that dont like fighting on the inside....like Escobedeo.....Diaz loves the inside and IMO is better at it than Katsidis.

You and the one judge were the only one's who had it a draw.

It was competitve but Diaz won clearly.

Katsidis looked nice and tidy against Escobedo. Kept his defence a lot tighter in that fight, even though it turned in to a one sided drubbing after a few rds.

You are right, it was a SD.

Agree that Diaz is a better in fighter than Kats. He has faster hands and beat mick to the punch when they fought in close.

heard he was trying to get casamayor for rematch down under....

Now THAT is something I would pay to see. Kats would definitely take him in Brisbane!!!!

Kats only won a couple of rounds in their first matchup and looked fairly helpless (was also one of the worst showings from a corner i've ever seen) so a rematch isn't really warranted. It was a travesty that a judge managed to find it for Katsidis, truly terrible scoring.

It's not like they fought years ago when Diaz was in his prime and has now been on the slide for sometime. The fact that Diaz is 1-2 in his last 3 with brutal KO loss, probably provides you with a better indication of where kats is on the world stage more than anything else. Their first fight was completely one-sided , of that there is no doubt and how anyone could have it close or even a draw (for fucks sake Ash stick a Taipan down your pants for that one) is defying any kind of logic

never, ever, ever, ever, EVER take up judging. At best Mick won 2 rounds. He was consistently outpunched and outworked
