Yeah. You're crazy alright! Golota is old and WAY past it, you are certainly right about that - but McBride is utter garbage. Golota would have to be shot as bad as Tyson to lose, and there is no indication he is.
He's not fighting Lamon Brewster here, he's fighting Kevin McBride. The same Kevin McBride who was starched by limited journeyman Louis Monacco and British tomato can Michael Murray, who had a 15-16 record when he starched McBride. And the same Kevin McBride who's gonna get laid out cold by Golota inside of a 5 rounds.:yep

Golota by KO. Golota struggles with guys who have fast hands, this guy is slow as hell. Golota despite being 40 still has very good stamina, check him out throwing tons of punches against Chris Byrd and going 12. McBride will fade fast and will get knocked out.

McBride has a rubbish chin - Golota will KO him methinks
what a joke. mcbride just got kod about a year ago by some stiff. golata will destroy mcbride. golata destroys mcbride inside of 5 in a complete mismatch. like lewis vs tyson

Haven't seen any of their recent fights, not sure if they've had many recent fights, this fight is a pile of bollocks.
This is such a don king fight. Don King can recycle and hype anything.
The whole card is a sham - Peter shouldn't be interim champ.
Please say this card isn't ppv - this is two top 10 contenders (peter and mccline) and nothing else. The 154 fight is probably the best of the lot.

Well, I thought it was Golota who was kod by some other stiff and than retired.
More seriously, I think Golota's chances are overrated. He is old, he was inactive for some time and I am not sure he got any better (mentally) than he was in the past. Anyone knows the odds?

There is simply NO WAY that I can imagine McBride beating Golota. Andrew has to think he has a good chance at one of the current HW champs, so he should be focused & ready to rumble for this one.

Correction: Golota has never lost to a "stiff". He's only lost to top 5 fighters. Lewis, Tyson, Brewster, Grant (then heir apparent). He drew with Byrd, should have been awared the decision vs Ruiz and beat the crap out of Bowe who was the number one heavyweight by Ring Magazine but lost by DQs.

I can't really see McBride winning this, but then again I gave him zero chance to beat Tyson too...so, but Golata has at least seemed to toughen up mentally in the ring in the last several years, and has looked decent.

Golota wins this by process of elimination. Though if McBribe wins I'll be laughing my ass off. :yep
If McBride beat Golota he must fight Holyfeld and Bowe next,
if he beat them he will be the most accomplished fighter in history.

It's good to know they still make Bum Fights videos.
McBride has all the boxing prowess of a sofa and Golota is...Golota.
I think McBride can't hit hard enough to make the Old Pole pee in his trunks and run out of the ring so we ought to see Golota maul this Irishmen for a few rounds til somebody throws in the towel to save what's left of McBride's gray matter. Or Golota will be winning handily and inexplicably attack the referee or throw a roundcard girl out of the ring.

Golota is not as old as some make him out to be. Late 30s is not really as hindering most think. Look at how many heavies are doing well in their late 30s and even into their 40s.
Foreman set a precedent that has inspired many to fight on.
Golota, McCall, Holyfield.........These guys are still very viable, and before someone says it, its NOT due to the low state of the division......... Its cause these guys are very dedicated and are full of heart and a love of the sport and competing in the ring.
Go, GOLOTA! You've still got a few years left at the top level........(assuming you can get there, first........LOL)

All these people calling Golota and Mcbride bums, and 'cant fight for shit'? How many of you would fight Golota? Or would ever say that if he was near your face.
People are harsh on boxers, you can be a bench warmer in the NBA and get more respect, then being a top 20 fighter like Golota. If you are not top 5 , people rip the shit out of you in boxing, it seems everyone is a fucking bum or over-rated.

judging on past couple of years for both guys and mcbride apparently being too heavy, i'd have to favor golota so long as golota doesn't get caught early like he is always susceptible to. mcbride IMO showed in the Tyson fight that he can bang a bit and that he is strong and knows how to use his size advantage if he is motivated and has a gameplan. i'd say 65/35 golota should outpoint mcbride if he fights a smart fight.

Are you seriously denying that McBride is not, basically, what would be called in virtually any era of heavyweight history, a bum?? :huh
Shit, he's not even good enough to make Joe Louis's "BUM of the MONTH" campaign.:patsch
