Its a brutal sport.
Just curious as to what drives you and atracts you to partake.
its beautiful but brutal and just everything about 2 men in a ring going to war
Two people, both willing to test their strength, do so in an honest and fair way inside ropes. None of the ugliness in actual fighting makes it into the ring, sportsmanship and respect are very important. It's pure and simple. The best man wins.

this.
the interesting thing with boxing is, what we truly find out about ourselves in the very primal act and long road of pursuing said fight.

I just want to be the best. I typically don't like to fight, but I wanna be able to come back to my home town and have people be proud of me.

The athletic attitude of the boxer, one of the finest of which the male body is capable, it logically exhibits all of the muscles of the organism to the best advantage By training, the mental faculties are also improved. The attention

just watching old tyson fights/documentaries with him in all his glory hypes me up
also it shows true ability. nowadays in today's society we have all of these socioeconomic classes the rich the poor and in between. what separates ourselves is our jobs and our connections to make it in society. im not sure i truly respect someone just beacuse they have money or something or a job that their uncle gave them. get some weakling in a fancy suit bullying people around cause they have authority. put him in a police uniform or a general's uniform in the military. strip everything away all the fancy cars and money and what not and you just have some person. throw boxing in the mix and you see a person's true ability. their courage their strength their skill. that is something i respect in a person.

It's great to test your ability against whoever is put infront of you, to see what you're capable of and how far you're willing to go. It's also great for confidence aswell. You need to be confident in the ring but IMO boxing itself breeds confidence.

How's your injury doing mate? It's about time you fight as well.
