View Full Version : Lovemore Ndou wants to beat up "the man" (contains toy throwing)

Scene it on the news.

He wants to beat him up and would fight at 160lb, he attacks mundine's choice of opponents specifically the potential wood fight etc etc :roll:

In my much valued opinion, ndou is only another domestic boxer trying to get the publicity and possible payday from mundine that isn't available from anyone else down under. All roads lead to mundine in Australian boxing. Anyone who goes life and death with matthew hatton should be busy running his morning miles instead of his mouth. :deal

Lovemore maybe best if you dont act shocked about mundine fighting winner of contender.
The whole world knew about it 6 mths ago.
Your another soliman,taylor etc who needs mundine to make some coin.
Youve lost approx 11 fights and your 38 now so might be time to hang em up.

Some real fucking garbage coming from the Mundine peanut gallery on this one. Regardless of whether Lovemore has a big mouth or is hard up for cash he has shown a willingness to take on all comers in his division in front of hostile crowds (unlike that rump jockey Mundine).

As for that fuckwad 20a87 questioning Lovemore fighting Matthew Hatton. Give me a break! you might want to jump onto Boxrec and check out the gallery of no names and dead shits No Balls Mundine has taken on before taking a shot at Lovemore!

You mean he was seen more as an opponent than a potential champion. Surely the "boxing world" you think you speak on behalf on extends to those that attend fights and buy ppv, so the evidence suggests mundine > ndou. Also in this "boxing world" WBA > IBO. :deal

Who cares where he ranks,he doesnt.
He is set up for life,he is happy and his boat cost more than 20 ferraris so im sure his ranking doesnt bother him to much.
Ranking is important when your trying to make a name,not once you have it.

I like the black panther and he sure has fought some good names over the last few years....in fact hes fought the big names for years now and over seas most of the time.

Yes hes lost the big fights against Cotto, Mitchell and Paulie.....however hes never been badly outclassed......most of the time only by 3 or 4 rounds...oh maybe Paulie got him in the first one.

Anyway my point would be nothing in his best wins ove Nduo and Rahab shows me he got the tools to beat Mundine.

Add to that the extra 6 or 7 kgs and its starting to look like the Wood missmatch.

Does anybody think this is a good fight?

However all credit to Lovemore for taking on the big fights overseas :good

Lovemore has faced some immense challenges in and out of the ring and overcome them with a great amount of dignity.
The recent Hatton fight is a good example of this guy is made of.
He was written off on the British board as merely a stepping stone for Hatton.
Talk about sour grapes at the end of thet fight!!
Good luck with The Pioneer challenge.

your skull really is quite thick.

Its about how you earn your money. I'm not short of a quid - security contracting and property development risky work but lucrative when it comes off. Thing is I have integrity in my work and no one has walked away thinking I'm a cunt. I'd rather earn less than I could and have the respect of my peers, instead of raking it in with 99% of the world hating my guts.

Lets see where mundine is 20 years time. He'll fuck it, its in his genes.

Of course.
He is an active fighter with a massive tank.
His last 4 fights went 12 rounds so he is as fit as he needs to be, to have a decent crack at the Pioneer you need to be able to fight for 12 rounds.
I think the biggest difference here between Ndou and the Pioneer's other recent fights is the you can gaurantee Ndou will box hard for 12 rounds.

Ndou will come to fight and knocking out The Pioneer will be his objective from start to finish.

The question would be at what wieght would The Pioneer fight at....Ndou would have to come up. The Pioneer proved beyond doubt he isn't capable of losing anymore wieght.

Agree with most of that Ash - only differ on the idea of Mundine making 154.

He had the incentive of Medley's title to make 154, but chose not to make weight. I know there was a lot more politics to it than that. But what the hell was Mundine doing trying to 'pioneer' another division, and then not even get a chance at the title?

OK, he won the WBA Iner title from Medley, but that hasn't enhanced his CV - who really cares?

And where does all this division hopping leave Mundine - in limbo?

The Pioneer is a counter puncher and heavily relies on his opponent try to set up.
This is where IMO The Pioneer does his best work.
The last four rounds of the Medley stoush really showed The Pioneer to be where he was years ago and he hasn't stepped up. When confronted with a barrage and gets tagged he falls to pieces in his defence. It's going to take an onslaught throughout 12 rounds for Ndou.
A punches chance is a shitty appraisal of a guy with Ndous resume. Especially of late.

Lovemore attacks Mundines' choice of opponents yet he would be exact same type of opponent Mundine has taken on in the past. An old, blown up welterweight. What a joke.

Wood won the contender when no-one expected, if kariz had fought him outside the realm of the contender he would have been taking flak, but wood won. And I agree ndou is kidding himself.

Ndou would give it a red-hot go, but is certainly kidding himself, and Wood is just plain not ready.

Geale II was the perfect challenge whilst waiting for bigger things, if that's indeed what team Mundine are doing.

It's been done to death, but Mundine needs to step up while his body allows it, not sideways and backwards.

End of the day Mundine was set to fight the winner of the contender.....if it was Kariz or Victor it may have been ok but because its Wood it's not.

Wood beat these 2 guys...everybody says yeah but it was only 7 rounds....so what? Both Victor and Karix knew that as well....they could load up without fear of gassing out so the fact that Wood stayed on his feet and won showed hes good and hes tough.

Going 7 rounds against Kariz and winning is very good....you cant be a shit fighter and beat him.

Yes I know about 10 or 12 rounds being another game and yes I agree it
is....however nobody on here will admit Garth beat Victor and Kariz and deserves to get a shot :deal

ok throw in some more cat talk :good

I don't know how many times I have to school you with regards to your posts before you give up and stop biting. If mundine is such a non-entity or so insignificant to Australian boxing why are posting about him constantly? I would bet about 10,000 of your posts are mundine related. I "cop shit" because haters hate it when I break down what is what in logical terms. I never sling mud first. I know I get to you, you know I get to you, its no trouble for me.

Well, you're certainly wound up now eh? :lol:

Add:

one claim of schooling to;
a silly assumption (that I believe Mundine to be a non-entity or insignificant to Australian boxing);
mix in an untruth (that I post about him constantly);
throw in an exaggeration (the reference to 10,000 of my posts being about Mundine);
blend with equal parts deluded self-importance ("haters hate it...") and a projection ("I know I get to you...")
RESULT: yet another pathetic Mundine nuthugger, who cannot accept even the slightest criticism about his hero and instead projects his own insecurities all over whoever happens to be nearby at the time :lol:

Good to see you've edited the title of the thread to advise of your dummy-spitting :yep

I wouldn't put it past Mundine to fight Ndou at 160. Typical Mundine opponent. Mundine wouldn't stop him either.

He did beat them, and under the terms of 'The Contender' series he did rightfully win a shot at Mundine.

But what's it going to prove if Wood fights Mundine now?

1/ That Mundine is vastly more experienced and likely to cruise to an easy win.
2/ That the convincing loss will set Wood's emerging career backwards when he needs to progress with more realistic challenges.
3/ That the further waste of time in Mundine's career won't achieve anything other than a payday - probably a comparitively small one.

Where's the gain in this for anybody??

But what's it going to prove if Wood fights Mundine now? .....may not fight him for another 12 months

1/ That Mundine is vastly more experienced and likely to cruise to an easy win.....he was going to beat them all anyway
2/ That the convincing loss will set Wood's emerging career backwards when he needs to progress with more realistic challenges.....a loss to choc wont set him back........Green and Geale are doing just fine after they lost to choc
3/ That the further waste of time in Mundine's career won't achieve anything other than a payday - probably a comparitively small one.... Mundine needs to move up in weight sometime soon on his way to schooling Green for a second time...he will stop at SMW to fight Wood then a warm up at LHW

Where's the gain in this for anybody??.....Mundine needs a break from fighting p4p guys every 3 months....Wood will give him that break before going up against the world later in the year :yep

Exactly. So Mundine will probably take him on and sell it as a bad blood matchup against a former world champion to the deluded general sports fan.

What odds would be given for The Pioneer v Ndou?

I'm thinking Ndou would be somewhere around the $3 mark is this were to be fought at 154??

I think it's a fair fight at 154....dont know about the odds...but Mundine weight drain will bring Lovemore back into the fight
