Not a bad effort by the former champion but Charles was too determined to lose on this night.

charles was determined but everything i've heard and read charles was terribly respectful of louis. joe did his damn best but charles is one of the best fighters and yes, one of the best heavies of all time. at any point in louis' career he'd have a tough time with the cobra. thanks for the thread mate!

I have the FULL video fight from '50..................... YAWN! Boring....... Charles won....... Louis at 218 was slower than shit at age 36 yrs..... Pabst Blue Ribbon was the beer who sponsored....... I drink PBR here in 2010......
