Word on the street is that Hennessy has won purse bids for Brook v O'Donnell. Can't see that though.:-(
I suppose the board update will be out in a day or two, they are usually out on a wednesday though.:huh

Sykes v Burns was added on sky text today, and for live boxing on sky-that is usually as reliable a source as you'll get. That must have been verified at the board meeting and they gave sky the heads up before anyone else.

No idea, we'll find out in a day or two. Burns was/is with ******, and Sykes has been on a few Maloney shows recently so I'd guess he's with him.
Suppose it could be ******, he's not had many FFN dates so far, whereas Maloney seems to have one almost every week.

Dunno, all due respect to Sykes, he's very good-but it's a hell of a step down from a world title shot. Definitely a loseable fight for Ricky.

I heard Matchroom were going to put Mccloskey Euro fight on that date and he was injured!

Sykes is with VIP/Maloney :good
It is kinda surprising that Burns has chosen to fight him. Really risky fight when he's so close to a world title shot. Hopefully Sykes pulls the upset :happy

I know that Donaire is fighting a strawweight on Saturday as Guerrero has been withdrawn with a detatched retina.

Brook will vacate. Hennesey won the Murray euro title bids to but has still done nothing.

feel sorry for Ricky Burns. would fancy Skykes to cause him some problems. Its gonna be tough for him to get up for it when he was training for a world title fight.
