hopefully this will be one of a few decent undercard fights on 3rd april!
isn't the anderson - david fight an eliminator for the british title, or is that the final eliminator?
in any case it will be good to see groves fighting a genuine british top 10 supermiddle :good

Good step up for Groves to say Dilks has just been fighting for the Commonwealth title.

Didn't see anything from Dilks last fight to suggest he can really trouble Groves.....Dilks is much slower and is there to be hit....Winner of Smith/Dodson will be a different prospect of course.
But its a great move for Groves, he wants to progress quickly....could be a massive year for him :good

Good little fight. I like groves a lot. Dilks isn't bad but groves should have too much of everything for him. Corner retirement after about 10

groves might not take dilks out, but will win a wide decision, but still think he would need to fight and beat anderson to warrant shot at british title holder to be honest

That is of course if this is a 12 rounder.
Is there an english smw champ at the mo?

Lovely. A decent domestic bout. It's a world title main event. We need MORE.
This is like Brock Lesnar vs Cheick Kongo with Cage Rage level fighters on the undercard.
It's a good fight but it will only appeal to Brits and HARDCORE boxing fans.
Rhodes in a Euro defence would be nice too. Price vs a live opponent would also help.

If groves looks as sloppy as he did in his fight with Sarohanian then Dilks may have a chance of getting the win

Very Nice fight. Dilks is no slouch. Groves...well gotta hope he's a lot sharper come fight night which i'd expect. This reminds me of Fury jumping in with Big John looked a nice move and easy win for most and it was far from it...Dilks ain't to bad a fighter and if he win's it propels his career bigtime. Can't wait for April 3rd

This should be a good fight. Dilks is ok and deserved the nod against tough Adamu and Groves is still very wet behind the ears and will need to fight far better than he has in his last couple of fights.
Groves looked awful last time out. Hopefully a step up in opposition may bring the best out of him.

I think Groves should maybe have a tune up fight befroe this, just to fine tune him a bit for his, as of yet biggest test to date. He never looked that great last time out, but still better than DeGale or Jeffries have looked so far that's for sure. He'll deal with Dilks without a problem provided he don't underestimate him.
