Haven't seen Dimitrenko, but Hoffman is a pretty average come-forward plodder. Nothing special there. He's the sort of fighter young prospects should beat handily.

Yeah, Dimitrenko is the #2 ranked WBO HW. Kohl promotes both Dimitrenko and Krasniqi, so he had a 100 % chance of getting a title shot, but he told the WBO to skip Dimitrenko. Dimitrenko's idiot promoter didnt think he was ready to fight against Krasiqi, even for a mandatory title shot. Thompson stepped in and beat Quitniqi, now Kohl doesnt have a title shot at all!

It´s really annoying how little you guys know of good european fighters. Almost like having a good record and skills means nothing if you´re not from US or at least a gigantic Russian.

He also knocked down Zuri Lawrence and taught him a lesson in boxing.
Someone like Calvin Brook was praised for his ko victory over aforementioned Lawrence whereas Hoffman didnt get any respect when he beat the same fighter.
The huge German is no pushover.Thats for sure.He has shared the ring with quite a handful of known names. As you rightly pointed out he was the only boxer who has been able to go the full route with Vitaly Klitschko.

Well,on the other hand we have to admit that Hoffman is tailor made for Dimitrenko.Hoffman has a very good chin, but his firepower isnt that impressive at all.He is slow and predictable, and his jab is no match for Dimitrenko's one.
Young heavyweight prospect Dimitrenko should be able to win a wide point decision against Hoffman IMO.

An in-form Krasniqi would KO Dimitrenko early.

LOL, I guess noone has seen the last Hoffmann fight where he was manhandled by Timur Ibragimov in Germany. He had no shot.
Hoffmann is a below average puncher, has an average chin, very bad footwork.
Then again he is by far the best fighter Dimitrenko has faced, his first Top 50 opponent and he's very game.

Unfortunately, for a lot of Americans(including many on this board) the world ends outside of the U.S boundaries, as I have witnessed living in the U.S for almost 9 years.

Good European fighters are ones that are lucky to get the nod against Bob Mirovic? C'mon now.

LOL.
The Krasniqi who fought Lance Whittaker and Brewster would beat him EASY !

Hoffmann isn't as bad as the Mirovic loss (let's call it this way) suggests, he easily beat Zuri Lawrence and Puritty but the very mediocre Timor Ibragimov really kicked his plodding butt so he's a clubfighter, not a fringe contender. Dimitrenko will probably beat him but it will be a tough tough fight.
Hoffmann certainly has a shot.

Timo is a joke but does ok against plodders.

Good point, brand! Besides he went the full route with Vitaly Klitschko. How many better known names than HOffman went the full route with Vitaly Klitschko?
Timo for sure can take a good shot!

Timo Hoffman is quite slow & he's getting up there in age but he does have some power & an awesome chin. Should be a decent test for any HW just because of those reasons. He can be outboxed just using a good jab & speed, should be a win for Dimentrenko.

If Timo had only an "average chin" he might have at least one KO loss then right? Think before you post...............

I can't speak for everyone, but I can't see a fighter if he's not on TV, I've never seen Hoffman fight, I know who he is, but have never watched him fight. (don't say youtube, because I don't really like watching fights where I already know what's going to happen.) These guys aren't on TV in the US and that's why I have never seen them fight, sure I'd watch em if I could but its just not possible.

first of all that hoffmann - klitschko highlight clip from youtube is bullshit. they cut all the maybe 30 punches that timo landed in the fight together while not showing any of vitalis punches. but he gave him at least some trouble though he lost all rounds i think and he was the only one to go the distance with him. but he has not gotten better, he is slower, even more onedimensional and lethargic. he doesn't even train at a gym anymore, he trains at some backyard where he trains with truck tyres and stuff. dimitrenko should win this fight decisively if he wants to be a factor in HW boxing.

Timo is a joke if Dimitrenko lose this fight he should stop boxing
only his chin is one of the best but the rest of him is bullshit
