Abraham for the win! :happy I can't see Dirrell having enough breath to keep running the whole 12 rounds... Abraham will catch up :thumbsup

he's done it before. i highly doubt AA's gonna be putting as much pressure on him as froch was. if AA applies a ton of pressure, i can see him winning. unfortunately for him, he doesn't have the best stamina and can't generally apply solid pressure for 12 rounds.

Dirrell doesnt have the experience but he has the skills to win. It depends if he uses them

Pressure isn't the only style to beat an elusive boxer.

Timing kills speed. :good

Abraham has muuuuuuuuuuch better timing than Froch.

Froch is the easiest fighter to hit in the super six, Abraham may be the most difficult to hit clean, along with Dirrell. Abraham doesn't need to apply pressure if his guard is as effective against Dirrell as it was against Taylor. Abrahma can win if his guard catches most of Dirrell's jabs and straight punches. If Dirrell wants to land around Abraham's guard, he has to come closer and that's where Abraham can use his violent outbursts to score and hurt Dirrell.

Even in the running match against Froch he actually did stand his ground a couple of times (not too many) will be a problem if he does that to often with AA.
And he didn't win his Olympic medal at track, like a lot of box fans think he did.

Fuck, I really don't know who to pick here. I think I'll go with Abraham.

The March 6th date is supposedly off (per a Dirrell training injury)!

It's still listed on Boxrec, so I'll give this a day or two to pan out.

Got to go for AA on points here. Dirrell was made to look good while trying to look bad against an overrated Froch.... I only see disaster ahead for Froch btw 8) .

Not sure how this vCash works but I bet all of it on Abraham.. Dirrell is going to have a tough time landing clean shots and AA is the much smarter fighter

I think Dirrell can take this but I've gone 2000 on the >9.5 rounds.

Doing a bit of hedging on this one. 1000 on Dirrell and 1000 on the under, since they're both getting decent odds. Probably dumb in retrospect, but they're both getting good odds, and I suspect we'll see one or the other.

I just put a small amount on Dirrell for the win. I thought the over would be redundant since I figured if Dirrell was standing he was winning.

Pavlik was reamed for being misquoted and taken out of context, but paraphrasing that, 'guys shortening their careers for peanuts'...... Taylor, done. Dirrell????? May never be the same, I am really hoping for the best for the young man and hope there is no lasting damage to him.

I don't know about peanuts being their payment because I don't know their pay. So I couldn't speak to that but this is an attempt to have the better fighters fighting each other in a division, which is what's supposed to happen in every division. So, I think that's a good idea. The Dirrell thing was a fluke as far as I'm concerned. I heard Andre's tests came back alright so at least there is that. As far as we know anyway.
