Great, cant wait! Cant believe Hopkins is gonna be on live, here's hoping he's in a better mood than the last time the two of u were together, and no jokes about him being used to the cold cos he's from Philly lol.

Buncey, whats Ritchie Woodhall up to since the decline of setanta? I know he has a minor role with the amateurs, but any chance of him getting back on commentary duty? by far the best in the business IMO.

Woodhall should be number one on SKY - fact.
Let's hope that he is used by Primetime -
Adios.

Nice line up.
Steve, I've got a bit of a problem. We have run out of heating oil and the delivery is not scheduled until early next week. Basically, it's fucking cold in the house, I can see my own breath and my feets are frozen.
Could you ask Bernard if he could give me any tips about staying warm and maybe lend me those pair of cashmere socks he got as a present from Calzaghe.

Yeah Woodhall was a bit of a Calzaghe fanboy, see the commentary for the Jones fight for evidence of that.
I'd say he's better than anyone currently at Sky barring possibly Ian Darke.... Adam Smith really does my head in, and the nodding dogs Nelson, Piper and McCrory seem to read from a script.

Anybody who knows nothing about boxing would be out of place in his situation, understandable really

Woodhall and Calzaghe were always good mates since before they fought.

Piper is a boring spastic who does not even seem interested in the sport - only gets the gig cos he used to be a fighter and is a mensah boy so therefore must know what he is talking about.

I dont think anyone would have any obligations to the removal of McCrory, Piper, and Smith from their posts at sky.
I find it amazing that Glen McCrory can commentate for a fight, and say about one sentence through a 12 round bout. Talk about seeping the last bit of energy from a situation.
Anyway, if ****** sets up this new channel I wonder who will pundit fr that?

Easy on the Piper is a 'spastic' stuff.
There are a lot of other stronger words that you could have picked!

I don't think smith is that bad, he is clearly passionate about the sport, and knows more than other suggest i think

Lol. Yeah but the thing with Smith is he wont say ANYTHING BAD about anyone. He just seems to be in over exxagerate mode 24/7. His knowledge isnt in question. You can find about a million guys that have the knowledge, but these guys at sky lack media training or whatever you wanna call it.
And ask for Nicky Piper...dont get me started. Lmao.
Good line up Buncey. :good
Ask Hopkins
What fights are there left that would add to his legacy and does he plan to someday walk away at the top or fight on.
Ask Carl Froch
If he feels the Kessler that fought Ward was well below-par or was Ward just too good? and does he think that Dirrell will progress past Arthur?
Fucking Eastenders is an hour long today :fire:lol:

Hopkins still wants Haye...as long as they can make it late summer, early autumn...
I can see this happening. Totally winnable fight for Haye, good money too.

Bernard needs to wake up because from what i've been hearing of De la Hoya it doesn't look good, I think this AEG buying major shares in GBP might've been the first step in Oscar fading out Hopkins when GBP goes public. Can you imagine in 5 years when Hopkins has zero promoter/market ability being close to 50?
Unlike Shane who 'beat' him twice, Oscar does not like Bernard who really taped that arse with a liver shot. DLH was a wounded dog and gave revocable ownership to 2 guys who made him humble, but the problem with Bernard is that Oscar hates him. If Hopkins doesn't align himself for the future with his own deal, he will be phased out. It has nothing to do with standard investments, it's the self-fulfillment that goes with equity in the sport that turned his life around. Hopkins better wake the f up!
