On the 14th March 1st Team promotions are putting on a bumper 14 fight Sunday afternoon card headlined by local favourite (and ex British title challenger) Dean Harrison challenging Ben Lawler for his Midland Area light-welterweight, and also includes a black country derby for the British Masters welterweight title between Rob Doody and Martin Gordan. Also up coming local fighters Rob Hunt, Nasser Al Harbi, Jamie Ball (recently came second to Frankie Gavin in young Midland fighter of the year), Rich Ghent, Ben Wilkes, Alex Strutt.
The shows expected to be about 4 hours long and for those of you who aren't local you can watch it for £2.99 on Hatton promotions website - well worth a look imo :good give you a chance to have a look at some of 1st Teams bright young stars (over 50 lads in the stable now).
For more info have a look at [Only registered and activated users can see links] ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) and look under pay-per-view.
Beats watching Eastenders omnibus.

How much are the tickets?
Could be worth a drive on a Sunday afternoon, provided there's no decent footy on.

According to the poster on the hatton site, £30 and £50 for ringside.
Man United v Fulham and Sunderland v Man City are the Super Sunday games that day. Hardly great matches.
I might go along, 14 fights for £30 isn't bad at all.

1st team show over her pre Xmas was really good value too, I was hoping they'd have another one on but haven't seen anything confirmed.

Yeah quite good lol, it should actually be crunchtime at lunchtime 2 - they had a crunchtime at lunchtime late 2008 (headlined by Steve Saville beating Baz Carey for the Midlands lightweight belt) that was a good small hall bill too.
Apparently tickets are doing really well which is great news.

Video about the Crunchtime at Lunchtime bill.
i was just reading about some of the fighters on the brandhatton website. ben wilkes lost 6 stones in weight to turn professional (as a middleweight)?? is that a typo or fact?
apart from dean harrison and mark lloyd i know very little about the fighters on this show. there are a few undefeated prospects taking part - does anyone know anything about them?

No mate thats absolutely true, aiming to campaign at light middle too now. Saw most of Wilkes fights he's looked good, improving all the time, sells a few tickets too, look out for him. At work at the minute but quick insight look out for Jamie Ball, Richie Ghent, both good amateurs started off well, Ball was pipped by Frankie Gavin for young midland boxer of the year. Rob Hunt is also quite good although he has been hampered by injuries over the last year, hopefuly he can get a good run going and step up soon. Nasser Al Harbi is rated in the gym but I have only seen him once. Also don't think Mark Lloyd will be on the bill he beat Matt Scriven over 4 on Monday.
